    Could you provide a link to, or more information on what you have stated in this short video. I too am aware that the study was based on a group of people in China who lived entirely on a plant-based diet. So if we are being mislead buy this book and the study was not conducted on a people group but was actually on rats, that would be a good thing for the public to know.

      @@christianhealthylifestyle 1) Oreo cookies (carbs) lower LDL cholesterol better than statin medicine for a unique group of people who are unusually trim and are on a keto (low carb) diet. Since we all agree that eating Oreo cookies is not healthy, your argue that lowering LDL cholesterol might not be a good thing. If you can't see the illogicality of that inference, there's nothing more I can say. 2) A study showed that 75% of patients hospitalized for a heart attach had LDL cholesterol levels below current national guidelines. So you ask, "Why do people with low cholesterol have more heart attacks then people with high cholesterol?"" They don't! Read the article. It's point is that the _guidelines themselves_ are not low enough! But I will give you one thing, I had not seen this UCLA article. While my cholesterol levels are within those "guidelines," now I'm going to give that a second look. Either you are not understanding what you're reading or you're just misrepresenting it. The Bible _will_ do that to a person. Truth becomes whatever you want to make it.

    • @christianhealthylifestyle
      @christianhealthylifestyle 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@workingTchr Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Regarding your first point, I didn't suggest that (carbs) lower cholesterol. Consuming more seed oils lowers cholesterol. I can see that you've bought into the lipid hypothesis as put forth by Ancel Keys in his 7 Countries study. This study is the bedrock of mainstream recommendations to lower saturated fat consumption and replace that fat with seed oils. Please watch part 2 of this discussion - episode 143 where I break down the flaws in that research. Saturated fat is not the problem, it's seed oils that are unhealthy for human consumption. Regarding your second point, the UCLA article says that the majority of people (75%) hospitalized for heart attacks have cholesterol that is within the current guidelines of 100mg/dl or lower. If these levels would not cause your doctor to have any cause for concern, wouldn't you say that is "low cholesterol"? Yes, they do recommend lowering the cholesterol guidelines. I can't repeat every point made in each article I cite. That would make my videos much too long. The major point I am making by citing this article is that by believing that LDL cholesterol alone causes atherosclerosis these researchers come to the wrong conclusion and continue with their failed recommendations to lower cholesterol even further. The fact that people with lower cholesterol have more heart attacks and have higher all-cause mortality should serve as a wake-up call and cause them to take a closer look at their presuppositions about the nature of cholesterol. They should be questioning why a protein foundational to the functioning of so many vital bodily processes such as cell membrane rigidity, proper nervous system function, the precursor to all the major steroidal hormones, efficient digestions, etc. is still considered the enemy. In a metabolically unhealthy person, high cholesterol is not the problem, it's a symptom of being in an unhealthy state. I'm not sure why you bring The Bible into this discussion. However, I operate from the standpoint that food created by God in nature is healthier for us than food made by man in a laboratory. In addition, we do well to study our body's God-given design and cooperate with it, rather than trying to outsmart our design or biohack our way to good health.

I am an 80 year old carnivore, now, for life. I eat combos of various meats, eggs, dairy, seafood, water and salt. Sometimes for supper I eat one Nathan's hot dog that has no fillers, is 100% beef. So you’re saying to vow like Skipper from “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”. “For better, please!” I’m not married. I see what you’re saying, and you’re right. Of course, I would simply take that part out. I do not abide cheaters, I don’t care who does it. The clause isn’t for people of today. It was for a time when women couldn’t survive without a man because society wouldn’t allow it. It was to shackle a man to the responsibility of a woman who needed his income. And after being married, she would be “damaged goods” if he wanted to drop her. Women don’t need men anymore. We don’t need to be “protected” by a contract of marriage anymore. There are so many things we don’t do anymore we used to. The bridle party was expected to watch the consummation of the marriage. They used to carry or follow the newly married couple to their bedroom to make sure he could perform and she was a virgin. We don’t do that anymore. Some traditional crap just needs to die.

    • @christianhealthylifestyle
      @christianhealthylifestyle 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @playfulpanthress
      @playfulpanthress 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christianhealthylifestyle Which is good, but why should anyone accept a cheater? If someone is willing to cheat once, it's a matter of time before they do so again. I wouldn't put up with a cheater, why would I think my partner should? There are too many diseases out there to put up with a cheater. It isn't worth contracting a disease from an unfaithful spouse for some archaic practice.

    Things change because our knowledge and understanding of the world changes. We strive towards this better understanding. The Bible is filled with inaccuracies, and things that are factually not true. So yeah, we often change and admit we were wrong. But meanwhile the Bible has remained wrong since it was written. We don’t do blood letting anymore, because it’s a pseudoscientific practice.

    • @christianhealthylifestyle

      @darklyripley6138 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christianhealthylifestyle I never said it was in the Bible. I used that as an example of how people over time have learned more about the world we live in. Blood letting was common throughout the times though. It was something that those people believed worked. Out of all my points, it’s funny how instead of addressing any of them, you choose to try to poke holes and pull a gotcha. It seems that to you(and many religious people) it’s better to stay wrong and ignorant, than to adjust and change overtime as we gain new knowledge. Because you for some reason believe “Oh they’re always changing them, so how can we trust them? Let’s just do the same old things that haven’t changed or adapted to our understanding of the modern world!” And I want to make it clear that while they did believe in blood letting and other ridiculous things to help the sick and injured, they weren’t stupid. There are some discoveries made during their time that they were quick to adopt. Yet for some reason people in 2022 don’t.
