@@imdeathdude instead of you diving and not being able to pull your gun up if you press dive, then press prone near the end you will end up on your back which will catch people off guard.

regular sprinting has faster ADS and faster sprint to fire. When you're running 100% at tac sprint you bring up your gun a lot slower and start firing slower. It's a trade off between faster movement (enemies can't target you as easily) and being less ready to fire at a moment's notice.

@ no route that I’m aware of, I talk about a possible route in my wr video that could potentially save an additional 5 seconds, so I think the theoretical max (with known strats) is 940. 975 would have to be some insane skip that no one else has figured out

It's....complicated lol. At the start of the round look at the green platforms. If you pause the video at 0:26 you'll see that there are 4x sets of platforms, and going from Left to Right let's call the groups : -Outer2 (moving to the right) -Inner2 (moving to the left) -'3x' (moving to the right) -'2x' (moving to the left) the set of '3x' green platforms, the middle platform moves first. (Let's call that platform A), and for the set of '2x' green platforms on the far right, the platform that's on the far right (as in the one on the right side when you are actually up there by the platforms) is "late" to move. Let's call this late mover Platform B. As platform A approaches Platform B, you need to see them cross paths at the position that's shown in the video. If they cross later that's fine, but if they cross earlier, you can't make the skip. That's phase 1 Phase 2: Now that Phase 1 is a go, look at the platforms we originally designated 'Outer2'. Ideally, you want the '2x' platforms (which started on the far right) to reach their destination (come to a stop) before the Outer2 platforms reach their destination. In the video above, you'll see that the far right platform of 'Outer2' (let's call it platform C) reaches it's destination juuuust a little bit before platform B reaches it's destination. This is why I didn't dive onto the platform on the right at 1:44 , it was already moving and I wouldn't have made it on. BUT! if you pop back to 0:26 and watch the timing of the Inner2 platforms, you'll see they reach their destination (meaning they come to a stop) a fraction of a second earlier than the Outer2 platforms. This means that I can wait after doing the "middle, right" platform jumps that I was talking about in the video, and jump to the first inner2 platform that comes into my section (shown at 1:46). In the video, the left and right platforms that form the 'Inner2' group are on essentially the same timing. You want to get on the left side if possible, because it's closer to the next platforms you need to jump to, the one I hang from at 1:51 . There are lots and lots of variations of the cycle skip, because all of the platforms we discussed are 'semi-random' meaning they will be on different timings each run. The more you do it, the better you'll get at recognizing the patters that appear. I hope this helps, I know it sounds confusing lol

@@Jason_m_74 hey Jason! I hope you saw that I used your skip heading into the red door second on this run! Re: jumping through the orange spinners, I’ve managed to jump through the second set once, but I’ve never been able to jump thru and get to a safe spot to skip a full bay, if someone can pull that off then they might catch the 14:25 elevator, but in all of my runs I never had the timing to do it. For the buttons on hang n shoot, that’s actually a backup strat that I run on a slower cycle, but it’s dangerous because the elevator platform will pull you down due to platform physics if you’re the tiniest bit late to the ladder. Even if you actually get on on the ladder, once the green platform moves down you can be pulled off the ladder :/

A friend and I have been trying a 'No forward input' version of the run, and its a huge pain trying to sub 15 it. Might be a nice little speedrun category for when you come back someday ;)

Very nice! I know an Xbox player “smokedyouinablack” that can’t do the info sign dive consistently, so he usually avoids it altogether and he’s hit 891! So there’s room for improvement, are you still grinding? Also have you practiced the info sign skip any more? I know a decent amount of controller players who can hit it, but I don’t know anyone else that plays ps4

@@platinumpineapple9943 it’s not pc only, lunchtime does it on ps5, and smokeyouinablack on Xbox 1 has hit the jump before, he’s just not consistent enough to do it in a serious run. I don’t personally know any ps4 players that have hit it so can’t comment on that side, but I do know pc, Xbox, and ps5 can all hit it

no just 2, but the stagger for the jumps are much better i learned if you start the second run at 8:00 or 7:30

With this run’s pace it’s possible! However I haven’t been doing second or beyond run attempts. I’m probably going to take a bit of a break from get higher as the new game is coming out, but I hope some runners continue to grind away at this game mode and improve on my time ❤

I've been on what I believe was potentially a 935 pace, making the small blue block after plane skip at 11:58,(In the run shown above, I made the small block at 11:54) but I fumbled the bag before being able to see the elevators that take you to checkpoint 19. a 4.20 would be incredible, and MIGHT be possible if someone can figure out how to skip a cycle on the elevators that take you to checkpoint 2
