2000 & 2005 Saleen S281 Dyno Pulls

Dyno’d my ‘05 S281-SC #1407 and my brothers ‘00 S281 N/A #281 over the weekend. The ‘05 is equipped with Brenspeed’s corvette killer package, JLT cold air intake, and Bassani off-road x-pipe. The ‘00 is mostly as it came from Saleen other than a BBK catted x-pipe, MSD coils, and Ford Performance Intake Manifold. More to come for these two.

At a recent Test n Tune with my 2009 RT full bolt-ons, tune, drag radials vs a 2016 RT Shaker stock. It was NT but I ran a 12.9 and he ran a 13.3. Time slips and up to date runs on my IG: black_pearl_hemi

Does anyone know if the headers will void my Power train and engine warranty? I have a 2020 R/T and I'd love to put these two together just like this!
No. Just anything related to your exhaust will be voided like an exhaust leak, active exhaust actuators and things like that. Unless they can prove your headers caused damage to your motor or trans, you should be alright

Ive learnt 1 thing borla is a rip off just run straight pipes sounds the same. In fact a borla is just a empty tube. Ya ya its got fiberglass in it but guess what that stuff falls out within a year and u got straight pipes anyways

Not sure, I haven’t seen their XR-1 long tubes for a while. They might have discontinued them

Yes borla’s XR-1 long tube headers came with a off-road x-pipe to connect directly to the Borla ATAK cat-back

Yes, everything is stock as Saleen made it. Saleen used a magnaflow cat-back exhaust for their build.
is tassel atak complete system? oh are tassel atak silencers nothing more? and in what position did you put them? at the end or in the middle of the car? I want mine to sound like that, thanks.
It was a full cat-back system, all complete
Looking for something legal since here in NC we have inspections every year and cant delete mufflers or anything of that nature, i have a 2011 dodge challenger Rt v8 Hemi, ive heard the Borla Atak was really good, also the flowmaster outlaw series, me personally i dont know to much about exhaust, so asking for any help on what i should get to make it sound you know just MEAN!! any advice would be muchhh appreciated!!!
Go with borla ATAK…it’s a good catback exhaust, even before I added the headers and catless xpipe, it sounded good!

I got borla catback on my 2019 rt challenger & I can’t decide which mod I need to make it a bit louder without it being absolutely obnoxious or sounding too ricey. Open to suggestions! Thinking about headers or camming it maybe with cai
Headers will definitely make it louder. Honestly it shouldn’t sound ricey if you have a good exhaust (which you do). You can always just delete the cats, or get an off-road xpipe if you feel that the headers are too much. My 2005 mustang has an off-road xpipe, and a cat back exhaust, which makes it almost as loud as my challenger.
Looking into potentially doing longtubes for mine with a borla catback, would you say daily drive ability would be cutout with longtubes and the borla s type?
Actually, my challenger was my daily at the time. If anything it made driving better. It helped a lot with drone on the highway surprisingly. Paired with my Borla ATAK I thought it was too loud so I had swapped for the Type-S. But the type-s with the long tube headers was too quiet for my taste. It sounded like just the borla ATAK without the headers, so I removed the type-s and put back the ATAK.

$12k is right about the price I was going to sell mine at. Similar mileage too. But I have so much money into my challenger, I’d hate to lose it all 😂.

I have the same setup on my '18 challenger scat pack except for the headers are kooks long tubes..nuthin sounds better than the borla atak!.."Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
I took Kooks headers for the 6.4 and slapped them on my 2013 R/T😅 Went with catless midpipes and did a custom sidedump until I can afford the Borla ATAK
