Amazing first high school rodeo of the season!!! Placed in the top 15 in both barrels and poles out of 120 competitors!! I was only one tenth off from being in the top 10 in the barrels :) And it was only my 5th time running poles on Pizazz and she's already running low 22s and there is so much room for improvement! I'm so excited for this rodeo season!! :)

I finally cracked the 18 second barrier and ran two 17's!!! I couldn't be happier the first day I came out of the arena screaming!! haha :) The girls I have been competing against this year are really good but Pizzaz and I have been able to keep up :) I am so proud of this horse!! :)

I decided to work Pizzaz around the poles and try and get her ready for high school rodeo this year. This is my first competitive run on her and she did great for her first time :)

Another rodeo on Pizazz we placed both days!! I'm so proud!! :) Pretty good runs but I think it's time to hit the practice pen and fix up our turns a little especially our first barrel but other than that she ran great!! :) Oh and if you guys haven't seen my video titled "My Rodeo Story" please go watch and "like" it. The more likes I get the greater chance I have for a scholarship so please go...

Another barrel race today :) Pretty good run but the ground was really deep :/ We placed 4th in the youth 1D. Usually horses are running in the low 18's and high 17's but today the fastest time was like an 18.9 so we did pretty well considering the ground condition :)

Jackpot barrel race on Pizazz we placed 3rd in our class :) I noticed I lost my bell boot during my run and panicked because I thought she was gonna clip herself but she didn't. It was a pretty decent run but I think we need to push out of our barrels a little more then that will shave off a few tenths :)

A little late on the video but here are our runs from last week. Shay and Malik are getting better every week! :) Mindy I still need to work on our pole runs but she did pretty well except for our first turn :/ and I wish I hadn't knocked over a barrel during our run :( oh well there's always next time!! :)

Another high school rodeo!! It was long but so much fun and this time Shay aka thehorsefreakout came with me!! :) I was happy with all my runs but Mindy and I need to speed up are pole runs. With more practice she'll be running her 23-22 second runs again! :)

First high school rodeo!! I was so much fun even though it rained and was freezing cold... :/ Both Mindy and Pizazz did great!! My first run with Pizazz was a not that great because I forgot my keeper to my back cinch so it was hitting her during our run :/ but I took if off the second day and she did great!! A whole second faster!! :) And Mindy did awesome especially for not running poles sinc...

Awesome barrel run on Pizazz but unfortunately we knocked over the second barrel :( We would've placed 3rd :( Oh well... I wasn't that upset because she ran a lot faster in this arena than our last run she's just getting better and better :) I finally used my new saddle and now I am getting her seasoned for high school rodeo :)

A little late uploading this video but I've had no time with school and everything :P but anyway here's a quick video showing most of my good barrel runs from last year riding on my horses Pizazz and Mindy. I'm so proud of them both and all that I was able to accomplish with them last season. I am especially proud of Pizazz and far along she has come, she was able to win a lot of money last sum...

Finally another barrel run on Pizazz :) we were pretty wide on the first barrel but it's been awhile since I had a run on her but she did pretty well considering :) my goal is to run a 16.1-16.0 by the end of winter season :)
