Jeez where should I start, thanks to the three of you in your podcast, I have laughed from my tummy for the first time this year honestly, thanks for the freedom you speak and just being men in their 50s and just seeing and knowing what we know. Thanks for a perfect cast and may you continue in this way for many many years. I am now a subscriber For Con, I have been a subscriber since Covid and I’m still loving the covers you bring to me and I’m singing them word for word. Before this podcast I didn’t really know you as a person, but after watching this I I’m a FAN, you don’t just make good music you also have acknowledged the same thing about being in my 50’s. Yes and a pizza and beer with the guys is much more funny’s you said, Con I think you like me, make memories wherever you perform and I commend you and all of HSCC members for bringing memories back, I thank you and keep on going. Love the interview with Con, HSCC are such a talented band of musicians and vocalists, we listen to them all the time. Feel good music of our era.

Another listener from HSCC….this was a great interview! The more so for being a full hour, plus that there’s relatively little background or bio info available on the group/members. Sounds like, from what Con said, that might be deliberate! It’s so interesting to hear all this a year later, with their big US tour just a few weeks away; funny how things turn out (or not). Now I’m curious who will be on the tour. (I’m trying to work out flight schedules and best venues to go, none are close but I do fly if flights are decent) Sometimes there’s a lot of band members onstage. Sounded like, back then at least, that was maybe more fluid. But this band is big, rightly so. So much talent-and Con addressed one thing I’ve wondered about: who’s “in charge” and how, when there’s so many creative talented players involved. Also interesting to hear he’s not so interested in writing his own music (another question I had); the HSCC arranging is his creative outlet. It’s obvious just watching them onstage, before hearing this (or anything about them), that Con’s the boss. He just radiates the vibe, exudes MAJOR alpha! OTOH maybe I’m just partial to bass players.

Have just found this group in 2024. I actually prefer the interview I heard on Australia “ Current Affair’ because you appeared more humble and not so cocky……and not swearing every few minutes. The music and musicians are great…..be interested to see them live because so much can be added to recordings

HSCC…What a great find you are. I came across you by chance earlier this year (2024) on TH-cam. Since then, I switch you on every morning for my daily fix to start the day for it stirs my soul. 🫠 I’m 76, still with much power in my voice + l love singing along with you all. The 70’s was amazing, in fact, we partied through the whole year in 76! Saw many of the great artists live in Brighton UK including Barry White. What an awesome time we had. Now, you Con + your boys have brought this all back for us + it brings a great adrenaline rush every time. 😁 Thank you sooooo much + l hope you keep on playing your magnificent sound for many years to come! 👏👏👏🙋‍♀️😁🇬🇧

Con, you're creativity is awesome. I was 18 in 1983. I played in groups with fellows ten years older than I at age 13. Those fellows were Funksters, Tower Of Power And Steely Dan fans and some. How you mix your bass riffs and tasteful arrangements is awesome. Tasteful in every song you and the talented musicians you play with. We only play as good as the people we play with, right? I am actually glad that men like do not approach because they lack of confidence. The men who approach you will be the ones are worth of your attention.

54 myself and a drummer been following these guys for few years now. Great interview Con been waiting to run into these guys on the road. We are making the move ourselves to Adelaide. Funny so admire what these guys have done musically. Kind of envious but in a good way. AMAZING TALENT! Sergey was the greatest guitarist I've ever seen. Igor is the best drummer. The entire band is reeking with true talent and wizardry. Not only is the music terrific, but that band is bringing together the entire world despite political tensions. We can all just step back from it and relish the wonderful music. At that time, all peoples are one. Thank you, Leonid and his wonderful band.

Very reasonable, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!

I think Sing it Live is as good if not better( Darrins band). There is a back story about the breakup. Darrin has the best musicians who followed him and most of the best dinger with the exception of Pina Del Rey and Danny who stayed. Darrin appreciates his musicians and singers and they have fun making music.....whereas with Conn its about the money. Darrin is a gentleman, professional and a great singer and arranger. Cheers
