Hi Xiujie Fang, We will now go on to answer the 2 questions that you have asked: 1- Is the evacuation effect stable? Yes, no claims/incidences have been reported. The main factor to consider in order to avoid any strange functioning is the temperature of the water, but it is a common point with other vacuum system used in steam sterilizers. 2- Can air be drawn directly? No problem… It is important to remember that in the initial steps of steam sterilization cycle profile the chamber is full of air and it is necessary to remove it to ensure a good steam penetration in the load.
