The 2024 Southeast Asian Youth Camp on Sustainable Development Goals
Embark on a transformative journey with us as Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) and SEAMEO SEPS join forces to kick-start the 2024 Southeast Asian Youth Camp on Sustainable Development Goals. From January 29 to February 2, 2024, we warmly welcome 56 passionate participants from 11 schools across Southeast Asia, including Brunei🇧🇳, Cambodia🇰🇭, Laos🇱🇦, Malaysia🇲🇾, the Philippines🇵🇭, Singapore🇸🇬, Thailand🇹🇭, Timor Leste🇹🇱, and Vietnam🇻🇳, comprising both students and teachers.

Experience firsthand the essence of SEP and SDGs through immersive activities and field trips on January 30, 2024. 🎋At Meechai Bamboo School, which emphasizes sufficiency economy philosophy, sustainability, and efficient resource utilization, and encourages students to contribute to the community, the participants explore tissue culture, soil rehabilitation, and mushroom cultivation. Then, at OTTO Farm, uncover the rich history of Dan Kwian pottery and engage in creative endeavors like sand art and DIY jewelry ceramic bead bracelets.

From January 31 to February 1, 2024, our camp transcends mere gathering-it's a platform for inspiration, collaboration, and action. Through design thinking approaches, we nurture empathy, creativity, and collaboration. All of their projects were presented to SEAMEO SEPS and SUT professors to develop further, equipping youth with the skills to become effective changemakers in their communities. 🌱
