@midium Hawkeye is heavily modded. Forged internals, close deck, EFR8374, E85, and all other parts to help push about 650whp without problems. Over 2 years with that power, no single issues. Blobeye is stock internals on bolt ons, inclined on suspension parts.

@@emersonargueta1156 Interesting point to consider is how much more or less is the insurance cost because of the ''rebranded or salvaged title'' especially as it relates to the EV market? (do you think your getting screwed by the insurance company, many people feel in general that insurance company's are taking advantage of EV owners , it's one of the big drawback's why a lot of people are hesitant about buying an EV for personal ownership)

Same here, I will find out soon, looking to get it registered this upcoming week. Insurances are always gonna screw us no matter what. I know the costs should be less based on the cost of the car, but with new EV this could change, I’ll update you

You can buy the housing already machined or send in your housing to OCD works or Boostlab and they can do it for you in the USA. You can also buy a pulsar turbo with the housing already machined for t51r. Most likely need something that takes a 4” inlet as it requires space to machine the housing, so you’d want like a gtx 30r/35r gen 2, g30 series, PTE 60+, think they offered it on borg Warner EFR’s as well.

I don’t right late, I could say it’s very useful on a long trip in which your return gets darker. Beyond that, it’s a trails bike, good gear ratios, bigger tank, electric start, headlights, tail light, good power, could easy become street legal if I wanted to. It overall does a descent job at everything.

It’s not a good one for a 4 cylinders, it’s probably increased by 1k rpm, I would suggest an borgwarner EFR series turbo, which is what I have on my track car, will sound different drivability will be that of a stock STI

Same here, check out the other Hawkeye vid, makes high 600s, EFR 8374, way more than I can handle as a driver, drivability is that of a stock STI, revs to 8k, it’s a time attack track without any aero or wide wheels.

This is a topical rotated turbo kit with UEL headers, no cats. What’s makes a difference would be a t51r mod for turbo and Tial wastgates, and blow off valve

I believe the 3 port boost solenoid is what causes that. I have a Greddy Profec boost controller and my EWG doesn't flutter (which I prefer). I have a video on my channel of how it sounds.
