As a seamstress, just a recommendation in the future, use fabric fusion (it presses onto your fabric underside with a quick run over hot iron), this way the glue does not seep through to your beautiful fabric. Also to avoid chunky corners, trim a overlay triangle at each point and you get nice rounded flat corners. A few extra steps, but beautiful end results. Fabric glue is perfect for cloth, leather.

How long does it take a resin notebook to dry and cure?
Hi Tammy, Its usually 2 days. After 1 day it may still be a little flexible. I like to let mine just sit for 2 days. Curing time can also change a little with the brand of resin you’re using

Hello, i would like to make resin bookcovers like this but the holes are not corresponding. I need a mold with discbound holes . Would you know of how to adapt these molds or how I could make my own discbound cover molds? Thanks
Hi Gudrin, the idea I would give is to search if they have discbound molds for sale online like amazon or drill the holes. You could make a regular mold without holes and then measure it and still. If you are making large quantity, then of course I would suggest making your own mold (this is something you would purchase to make a mold of the notebook) or buy a mold.

@gudrin999 - you can unmount before fully cured and snip the lines from the holes to the edge and create your own. Just a thought. 🤷♀️

When I want to DIY something... I watch a lot of videos so I can get as many ideas and narrow it down to easiest and economical choices. Your video won!! This is perfect. The only change is there is a beautiful picture on the cover...so I will have to do my best to cover my Bible and only edges of cover. Your soothing voice and background music nearly put me to sleep. The material is so pretty. 19:44 No...don't cut corners! 😃 😊 jk 😜 New sub!

Hi, how long do they normally take to get hard ?
Hi Sherell, so a with non uv resin it cures in 24 hrs….sometimes a little earlier depending on the thickness
For a full cure where it can’t be bent, I would say 48hrs….so if you’re doing a product or project for someone I was suggest to make sure you give yourself 2 days to leave it alone for curing….for this specific product at least….but you can check it after 24 hrs….if you can’t bend it, then you’re good ☺️

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and the idea came to me to do something as a keepsake for my baby when he is born but unfortunately can't find much videos on that so your video gave me some idea as to how to work with resin and how to get the items needed. So I'm forever grateful. If you have any other suggestion I welcome it too. Bessings

Aww… I’m sure there is somewhere online you can find it…resin book binder rings….either for size a4 or a5
I use clothespins to keep fabric in place while I work on other areas.

Hi Sharon, that happens sometimes. Part of this specific table that I’m using was uneven so I put a folded paper towel under one side of the resin book and that made the design level out 👍🏾👍🏾

Hi Beverly, thanks for watching! I actually got regular paper cups from Amazon and the silicone resin cup came from Amazon but in a package with other items…I’ll put a link in the description for cups
