Thank you :) Yes, you can add glitter but I recommend adding really very limitted amounts - just a shimmer. This is because glitter is made from plastic and aluminium (and other materials) where I would be worried that they are releasing toxic properties when being heated. So only recommend small amounts for appearance of shimmer.

Liebe Monika, herzliche Dank für dein Kommentar. Es ist immer ärgerlich, wenn man sich die Mühe macht und dann doch etwas schief geht... aber Kerzen sind tatsächlich eine Wissenschaft für sich. Je mehr du herumexperimentierst, desto besser wird es bis du deine perfekte Formel herausfindest. Ist der Krater bei allen drei Kerzen vorgekommen? Ich werde ehrlich sein, ich arbeite mit einer anderen Sorte Docht (ECO Wick) aber das Problem ist mir auch schon begegnet. Ich vermute, anhand deiner Beschreibung, dass es am Docht liegen muss. Kein Frosting und keine Löcher sind schon mal ein super Anzeichen auf die richtige Temperatur beim Giessen - was sehr viel bedeutet (vor allem, wenn dies das erste Mal ist!). Aber noch mal zurück zum Docht - experimentiere weiter mit der Dochtgrösse - manchmal ist es sogar besser einen Double Wick zu machen mit zwei kleineren Dochten. Manchmal kann das Duftöl im Wachs auch dazu beitragen, dass der Docht das Öl ungleichmässig aufnimmt und daher unterschiedlich stark abbrennt. Manchmal ist es die Qualität des Dochts selber und wie dieser in Wachs getränkt worden ist bei der Herstellung. Mach weiter und gib nicht auf - du wirst die Formel knacken für die perfekte Sojakerze. Du bist auf dem richtigen Weg!

Hi Marisa, there is always some risk connected with adding items to the candle. I prefer to use very little flowers and not put them directly near the flame to minimize the danger. once the pedles are immersed in the wax the ods get lower that something could happen. when using crystals make sure to use those that have a very high melting point. that reduces the danger. never leave your candle unattended and follow propper candle care and burning instructions.

Hi Dinesha, thanks for the question. No, the label doesn't melt when the candle is burning down. The burning flame doesn't come in direct contact with the label. The jar does get hot but seemingly not hot engough. :)

Hi Kate, you can put the jar in the freezer over night which will allow you to remove the wax much easier. Once the big pieces of wax are off the crystal you can wash the crystal with warm water and sope (soy wax can easely be washed off with soap)

Hi Simone, danke für deine frage. Das hat mehrere gründe. Das glas hat eine kühlere temp als der wax und je grösser dieser unterschied kann dazu führen, dass der wax sich vom glasrand ablöst beim abkühlen. Ferner kann es bei sojawax dazukommen, dass der wax einen belag entwickelt, wenn er zu heiss gegossen wird (die qualität der kerze leidet zwar nicht darunter aber es sieht nicht so schön aus). Aber einer der wichtigsten gründe ist, dass die oberfläche der kerze luftlöcher entwickeln kann, wenn der wax zu heiss gegossen wird - das sieht nicht so gut aus und kann unter umständen die qualität beeinträchtigen. HI Rekha, that is a valid concern. Make sure to use crytals with a high melting point. The crystal may get damaged but it won't catch on fire it is not a hasard such as plastic or event dry flowers are.

Hi Meikel, das kann man so machen, wie du es vorgeschlagen hast - und mit einem dünnen Holzstäbchen kannst du sie dann dorthin im Glas verschieben/platzieren, wo du sie haben möchtest. Stelle einfach sicher, dass die Blütenblätter nicht zu dicht am Docht sind damit die Kerze gut brennen kann.
