As a personal support worker this is very helpful 🙏🏽

The locking pin to open the rear panels is awful on this model. It takes 2 hands which means it takes 2 people to safely transfer a patient who needs physical assistance in standing. We had to remove the locking pins for a patient today and it works much better, and its possible to use with a single caregiver.

Here's a question for you my mom has two of these each one of them keeps saying low oxygen I've replaced the sieve beds and filters and the cannulas and they are still saying it at first we thought the one was bad so she bought another one and that one is saying it now do you know what might be the cause I just find it hard to believe both machines failed in less than a year

Can one try to do this without help from anyone 🤷🏿‍♀️

You forget to lock the machine before transfer!

I would not recommend the Strongback wheelchair. I purchased one for my Mother and the chair tends to fall forward if the patient leans forward or to the side to pick something up. Design in my opinion is flawed.

I want to know how to put on a compression sock after a toe amputation, so that it doesn't hurt... Dr recommended comp. socks

Mine was pretty easy to put on it took me about 5 minutes or less. Mine was medical though they were pretty easy

What the? Holy 💩 No friggin way! You got to be 💩 me!?! This is one of those der der der duh moments. Made it look so simple and easy. Why wouldn't this have donned on me a loooooooong time ago. How did you get the patient in the hoyer lift

I think is a terrible demonstration. He didn't show how he placed the sling under the patient; how to hook the sling to the hoyer lift; the length of the attachment should be longer around the legs and shorter around the trunk; he didn't explain the importance of closing the release valve to pump the lift; he didn't lower the bed rail or applied the brakes on the lift when lifting the patient; and last but not least he didn't open the bottom frame to show how to place a patient in a chair, bed or recliner.

Do you know how many pounds the Hoyer lift can take? Would it be more beneficial for somebody to have an electric Hoyer lift if the patient is more heavier?

I naturally figured this technique out. But for waterproof socks! 😅

I've had two pairs of compression socks for over a year. Couldn't get them on. I'll see if I can find them and give your suggestion a try.

I'm on 4 lpm .and the battery only stays charged for tops 2 hours. I'm sometimes out for longer than 2 hours and don't want to buy extra batteries. I want to buy a portable battery Bank to keep it charged. How many watt hours do I need to keep it running for around 4 hours? Will a 300watt 299wh 80818mAp power bank work?
