G works as a nail artist/technician and she is internationally known in the nail industry. Her artistry and innovations carry over into the quilting world. It all started on a Women’s National Bowling trip. One woman on the road trip was doing quilt blocks by hand. G was so envious that she didn’t have anything to occupy her time on the road, so quilt shopping began and she learned to do it on the trip home. As Marie Osmond’s nail tech, she was doing her nails and was so excited to show her what she had learned. After she finished her nails that night, Marie asked her to follow her home, where she gifted her with her first Janome sewing machine. The sewing journey began then, in July 2011. SHERRI is an Army Veteran and Neonatal ICU nurse. For years, She prepped everything for her patient’s quilts and would make G sew it. G grew tired of this one day and refused to do it. So, her quilting journey began that day! Now, she regularly makes quilts for her patients and for fellow veterans.
CUP FANNY PACK TUTORIAL
This cup fanny pack is a great way to carry essential things with you. You can attach these on your water bottle, your cups, Stanley cups, Starbucks cups and really any kind of cup you can think of! We especially find them extremely useful on a cruise. They are great for carrying out to the pool, when you normally will not have any pockets in your bathing suit to carry your key card, chapstick, and whatever else you need to have handy. Equipped with a lobster class, they can also be just hooked to your belt loop or your purse. There are many versions of a pouch like this, but if you would like to make this particular one, then we have included the measurements below.
Be sure to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and found it helpful, or fun!

What kind of lighter do you use to shrink the thread ends?
It’s a small butane lighter that u can get on Amazon or many gas stations and smoke shops have them as well.
If you have a Brother or Baby Lock sewing machine with a laser beam then you use the laser beam and just stitch from corner to corner. No marking needed.
Yep that’s a great thing but for those that don’t have that capability… this is a great way to do it!
You make this look like a cake walk…. I’m going to try to make one!
It’s truly so fun and easy. U will do great! Thanks for watching and hope u subscribe and thanks for the comment
Do you have to have two fabrics on the outside? I eould like to have it all one color fabric? Can i just make the outter fabric same size as the lining?
Absolutely. U can make it exactly how u imagine it!
Hello. Thanks for your tips on cleaning. Can you tell me why my stitches are sewing out of line with each other? Like little tiny zigzag
I’ve had that happen when I was trying to use aurifil thread. Not sure why but I don’t have that issue anymore. Maybe try a different thread? I use Magnifico or Glide and have no issues. Hope it helps
Love the nails G
Thanks Verna
What did you spray on zippers?
Not sure what u mean. I don’t spray anything on my zippers!?
Hi G this is Chanel and Charisse from New York We met on the Carnival Venezia cruise. We sat next to each other on the Beach in Nassau.
Yes. I am gonna text u some pics of y’all in the Bahamas
@@WombmateCreations Okay. How are you? Tell your husband we said Hi.
What plier is that please
Multi hole punch I got on Amazon !
This is one of the cleverest things I have seen in a long time! Just need to get waterproof canvas and I will be good to go! Thank you so much.
Thanks for watching and help spread the word to your fellow quilters to subscribe! Thanks and have fun making them.
So ?.just curious,. what do you do when the elastic stretches out or wears out? I've had bands that only last a few uses and some a long time..
Well, that hasn’t happened but I would probably attach an o ring and then a new band
Great idea!!
Thanks. There are many different ones out there, but I think we nailed it! Thanks for watching our videos!
Bonjour Je n' ai pas compris a quoi sa sert 😢
In the beginning of the video we show what it’s for. I like to put my chapstick, cards, pills etc.. really anything that can fit in it that you would use throughout the day!
What weight vinyl?
Couldn’t really tell ya. I get the remnant vinyl from Joann’s when I see it. I think it’s a 20 gauge but I wouldn’t swear to it
You guys always have great projects and are so much fun to watch
Thanks so much!
Adorable!
Thanks so much for watching our videos🩵
What needle do you use?
90/14
Can quilters cotton be used? If someone doesn’t have waterproof canvas what other items would you suggest?
Absolutely u can use whatever u like. Using the thin vinyl and waterproof canvas just make it pretty lightweight. I have also done quilted ones.
Hmmm, now that’s pretty cute and useful ❤ thanks 👍❗️
Thx. Please share with ur sewing buddies🩵 thanks for watching our videos
That's awesome. I made a handful of cup bags at Christmas and they had so many parts and took forever. This is such a a smart and much easier design Brilliant
Glad u liked the video. Hope u make lots!
Great project! Thank you so much for sharing.
You’re very welcome. Share with ur sewing friends! Thanks for watching our videos and subscribe cuz I have some more cool things in the works
I loves this!! I just subscribed ❤
Thanks so much 🩵
I made it ! So quick love it ! So many options as far as look can’t wait to make my family one. I didn’t put the bands on just the claw think I’ll make some wristlets for it to go with. Thanks so much it’s so cute !
Thanks so much for watching our videos. Glad u like the project!
Great idea
Glad you think so!
Excellent. I just made a bunch and it sure as heck wasn’t that easy. I do put a batting in between tho but shoot you could cut all three with that and o like that size rotary
So do y’all like the ones with the knobs better or the flatter ones ? I have commented on so many of y’all’s vids hope to hear back. 🙄 I know
The knobs are better for me. Sherri prefers the small palm paddles. It really is just about preference. Thanks for commenting and watching our videos. We do appreciate
This made me lol !!! 🤣🤣🤣
Omg I had forgotten all about that video. It is pretty funny 😁
Love it
I have another one of these. U reminded me! Thanks
I asked y’all in another video if y’all were Floridians because you sounded like it to me ! I’m a Florida girl born and raised this may have answered my question but then I could be visiting too?
We aren’t from Florida but love going there. Originally from WV
Do you think the paddles help you design easier or have more control. I’d never seen them before y’all so went on Amazon and found them have them in the cart waiting on your reply to see what you really think of them.
I absolutely know they help reduce pain while quilting. Truly think they make it so much easier to move that quilt!
Yeah I will my husband would like that
Great gift!
Y’all sound like Floridians ?
Originally from WV but have lived in Vegas for 34 yrs now!
Excellent !
Thanks for watching!
Please let the camera just sit and slow it down. I really like to look. I’m so glad I found you guys ! Where are y’all ? I’m in Palatka , Florida .
You should show you doing it. I’d like to see what your using.
lol that was a one and done!
Omgosh I’ve never seen that little machine ! See when you subscribe to someone new you learn something every single time. That’s very cool peace out lol
Thanks for choosing to watch our videos! Please share with your friends!🩵
I love it ! I’d love to get my quilting good enough to do a solid color I love that look especially white on white like that. It’s gorgeous to me.
I have another question what are those handle things you are using and where did you find them ?
U can get them at classicreations.com Quilting paddles.
I left a reply on NikaNef-tz7nf I meant to leave a comment instead so please look or I’ll just ask again. I know your using you Juki in this vid but do you FMQ on your Janome ? If so what do you put settings at please if you don’t mind. 😜
I have some videos on the M7 playlist that will tell u. I’m sure u will run across it cuz it looks like u r binge watching us. How cool. Thank u
Will it work on fabric bought some cloth from a garage sale and the put that wide scotch like tape on them and it left a gummy residue on it . Will it work ?
I’m not positive but I think I would try it!
How long did that take ya ?
Not sure. Was a long time ago. I never really keep track. I always intend to and then I forget cuz I never sit and quilt something all at one time. Just sit and do it when I have time!
Omg I just had to come back and say how much I love the quilting on this panel it’s excellent. I don’t think I could have parted with it. Wish I’d have found ya before the raffle. I sure hope someone who appreciated won.
Yes and I have a raffle the 13th of every month. U can go on our fb page Wombmate Creations and learn more. I haven’t put the May quilt up yet (I’m behind and going on a cruise). If u join our page, when I have it ready I will post it!
What a great idea ! I love how this turned out. I just found you with the lil pouch for bottles and cups and I’m making one as we speak but I started thinking did I subscribe to her channel so I had to come back to be sure and started checking out your vids ! I have a Janome 9450 memory craft I wanted the M7 sooo bad but I was lucky to get the 9450 which I do love . Glad I found ya think I’m gonna learn a lot from you . Be seeing ya. Take care.
Awesome. I am glad u found us. Thanks for watching
I love this ! Thank you 🙏
