Blondie - China Shoes LIVE (edit)
มุมมอง 62713 ปีที่แล้ว
On September 10, 2011, Blondie performed at Casino RAMA in Orillia, Ontario (just north of Toronto). I converted it to black and white just for effect. The sound quality is not the best (sorry). Here is a small clip of my favourite part of one of my favourite songs on 'Panic of Girls'; the newest CD available exclusively on Amazon.com: www.amazon.com/Panic-Girls-Amazon-Exclusive-Blondie/dp/B005...

Hard not like Jeff...
The fly swatting omg
One of the greatest songs of all time ! Carl Perkins was a huge influence on the development of rock and roll George Harrison championed Carl Perkins in the same way Keith Richards loved Chuck Berry Matchbox and Honey Don.t are 2 more classic Perkins songs Sun Records had an amazing roster of talent and there is a. Recording called what was called the Million Dollar Quartet ( adjust for Inflation ) where Elvis , Carl , Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash recorded together After Elvis passed on the Cash Christmas special the quartet got back together in tribute to Elvis with Roy Orbison filling it out , Roy also recorded for Sun in the 50s Carls influence is not stuck in the past , you have people like Dave Edmunds and Strays Cats , Imelda May and I would argue all way up through Flat Duo Jets to The White Stripes As Paul McCartney once said “ No Carl Perkins , No Beatles “ And i say no Seven Nation Army either
"I took about an 18 year break" 😂
Comedy genius! It’s like watching Airplane… just rapid fire jokes over one after another! 😅😅😅
💜💜💜
Geoff Goldfarb is a great guest.
"Ooh, ah," that's how it always starts with Jiminy. Then later there's the running ... and the screaming ...
"WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!?!?!"
The character of Glick can be..... i HAD SOMETHING PLANNED OUT,.BUT no.
How the fuck does he come back so quickly with such great one liners. 😂😂😂
I recorded all 6 episodes of "Raines" directly to DVD. I thought that show would last.
One of his best
He is sooo priceless, love his interviews
This is pure laugh entertaining show
Hilariously funny! 😂
For years I disliked martian short because he didn't tip me when I played a great piece for him on the piano, but now I dislike him even more because I see what a great comedian he is,he had me busting up,,but what a tightwad... truly has crocodile arms,to short to reach the wallet. But he is great.
Jeff's hot 🔥
Jiminy Glick and Dame Edna together? Explosion? Implosion?
Thanks for posting this cleaner version or this GENIUS COMEDIAN playing a hilarious and quick Jiminy Glick.
Jeff is one of those few celebrities who is so chill- the host of a program can mispronounce his name TWICE and rather than going off on them or pretending it didn't happen- he politely corrects them.
I had forgotten how funny Martin was as Jiminy Glick. I'm also a huge fan of Jeff "Goldenblum" 🤣Loved this clip.
Always enjoyed Jeff Goldblum's performances as an actor, but he comes across with so many effeminate mannerism during this interview, plus help but notice he's wearing a heart-shaped wrist watch (2:40).
Comedy gold! 💰
Jeff ser ut som Vanheden!
He looks like a Women’s Studies Professor
Awful
“Ahhh the last piece of the mosaic” Such an underrated line. What a comedic master
How does he come up with this stuff?
It's against the law in so many states!
Can lie jeff goldblum is my daddy kink...I'm totally straight I think
Martin stays in character so well as Jiminy Glick. His expressions are so hilarious!
One thing I haven't seen Jiminy do is suck all the jelly or cream out of the donut before eating it. That would make the Glick experience complete.
It’s a testament to Martin that the comments in EVERY Glick video include “this is one of his best interviews ever!”. They are all the best!
Love Jeff’s glasses
omg I LOVE JG .. this is def one of my favs and i love alll Glick interviews
SO good. I'm glad not many people knew about Glick's genius. It's my little secret :)
This exhibits Marty’s sheer comedic mastery by not going too deep and over the top sarcasm with the absolute sweetness and kind Jeff Goldbloom …..he kept it light and mirrored his gentleness…….Marty is next level talent! 🫡🏆
I hope Britains Graham Norton paid a hefty license for completely ripping off this show - for like 10 tiresome years +
Martin Short kinda pre-dates Zac Galifianakis with this character. I feel like I'm watching a polite, classier version of Between Two Ferns.
My favorite Jeff Goldblum movie is "Lush Life", where he plays a jazz musician.
He certainly was on that day with Julia louis Dreyfus following, also one of my favorites
I miss him so much lol
Martin Short, just fantastic character of Jimmy Glick
His dedication to the role is incredible, losing the weight for other roles, then gaining it back to Glick once more.
Martin Short is a comic genius
Short has never been funny since the starting of time. Then you add in Jeff Goldblum oh my God the worst. Guy is so visibly a douche. Slimiest guy in Hollywood
I am relatively new to this character. Do the guests know the setup or are they in the dark?
the guests know the setup and are in on the joke (its all improve though - which is impressive). Martin Short goes deep into his character on "A Podcast About jokes" - its actually based on a bunch of people that he met in his life and he rolled them into one character.
If you were to look up “comic genius” in a dictionary, there’d be no need for a definition. A photo of Martin Short would suffice.
I'm honestly surprised a meeting between these two didn't result in a paradox.
Watching Jeff walk out was the first time I realized that he walks in the same cadence as he speaks 🧐🫢
"you're a dead man" - star jones
That intro. Hilarious.
