Good Work..👍
Thanks, glad you liked it!
very, good, but a lot more needs to be said ie his speed, his POWER his reflexes, his unbelievable, training methods,,hi diet,,thanks ,charlie dale recar england 😅
Thank you, agreed there is so much that could be said but this was our first foray into longer form content just to see if people enjoyed as we tend to do short 2/3 minute videos to give people the basics to then follow on themselves if interested.
✨
Glad you enjoyed.
First, just because I could
Fair enough lol!
curious as to why are you calling it Penchax instead of Djuru's and Sera instead of Serak?
I believe much of this comes down to regional terms and lineage.
@@up4education Good as answer as any. Cause there is a guy on here I talk to regularly that trains Pencak Silat-inspired weapons handling, while mine is Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara, and terms can very sometimes. Not sure if it's because his is "inspired by" or cause of a big regional difference. I guess the Guru could also be a big influence.
Interesting video. But I would improve the quality of the video. I was watching at 1080p but video seemed like 480p
Thank you and yes this is a problem occasionally in editing but most videos are higher resolution, just needed to tighten it up a bit.
I like Combat Sambo because it involves the use of firearms and allows striking.
Standard Sambo is certainly nothing to be sniffed at.
@@up4education True. Even though it ain't Combat Sambo, Sambo is still Sambo and there's a reason why it's deadly.
Rubbish….
As mentioned there is a lot of criticism of the system.
Let's see this bullshido used against an amateur MMA fighter. 😂
Even the wild Russians consider the adherents of the system to be clowns. This is not a fighting system, but a sect of managers and PR people.
It absolutely has a strange status.
Systema's main feature is that it doesn't fucking work.
It certainly has concerns.
Fair and balanced 👌
Thank you.
Another day, another banger
Thank, I do my best!
@@up4education You're welcome man. And also, thank you for the knowledge you provide to everyone as well man. So many learns from your video.
beautiful
Very interesting system.
me
An interesting system
Never heard of Chow Kwon Do
There are so many around the world, and we try and cover as many as we can. Surprisingly, few are well known.
the "Ka" in Kajukenbo is actually from Korean Karate specifically Tang Soo Do which is the primary style of Chuck Norris.
Very true, I should have specified. Thank you!
My comment was probably nitpicking a bit but I wanted to say it in case anyone wondered where those kicks come from. 🙂
@@salvatorediangelo453 It's all good!
Sounds like it's just judo
There are certainly similarities between all wrestling style ats especially when throws are involved.
Many Thanks For This Man. I hope you also do Systema next.
All good, we do have a schedule and subjects etc. but always happy to interact with viewers. May be a while before Systema comes up though.
@@up4education Understandable
Videos about history in 5 minutes always works for me! Thank you for explaining! :)
Glad you liked it. Always try to give a short explanation, then if it sparks an interest, you know what to go and check.
Is there an academy in New York?
There used to be one in Lynbrook, unsure if still there.
Many Thanks for uploading 2 videos man. You're the best man. Also, do Unifight next.
I always look to do 2 videos its just that usually only one is martial arts. I dunno if that will be next as I have a few I have ready but I will get to it dw.
@@up4education Understandable man. Keep up the good work as always.
So there's Combato and Kombato? Noice.
Yup, I was surprised i'd never done it but when I did Kombato I realised. both have similar origins to a point.
@@up4education Imagine both martial arts combined
I am venuezuelan and i really want to learn this
It is always fun finding new systems especially the more unknown ones from your own country. There should be a few schools near the capital.
very pleasant to look at.
Very much so.
Many Thanks for this man. Please do Kombato next.
All good, I know that is on the list.
@@up4education Many Thanks Man
Terrific videos! Do more so all movements etc. are learnable. I have had one for years and want to know it all.
Thank you, we only look to introduce you to the art and then you can go from there if interested. A couple of the instructors are in the comments section if you wanted to learn more though.
Great video! Strange seeing yourself on someone elses documentry. If you want any more information please contact! Cain🙂
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I always pick what I think looks best. Sounds awesome, always encourage people to look into those they like the look of after my short info vids.
Please do Kuntaw
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll have a look what we can do.
@@up4education YAY
What wood is traditionally used for these sticks?
Due to individual HEMA training and it being for training it can vary but oak, ash and hickory are often used in this context.
Apologies for the awful pronunciation, having not taken Germany since school I struggled. Thanks for understanding, enjoy!
The fact that a Power Ranger Actor also created this is amazing.
People tend to forget that many of the actors that got the parts were gymnasts and martial artists.
@@up4education True to that man
Been waiting for this 🎉😂❤
We aim to please!
Noice, Military Martial Arts are 1 of the best. Also, I hope you do Xtreme Martial Arts next.

A martial art made for killing
It is not one for playing for sure.
Please do Modern Army Combatives
I thought we had, I shall rectify this and it will be out tomorrow!
@@up4education Okay, Many Thanks Man
Edit: I talk too much in here. Feel free to skip to the end if you feel like it. I have a number of comments/questions. I'm as far from being an expert on the matter as one can be, but I'm in hema for a couple of years now, and I heard some things from people I train and/or fight with. It rose to prominence as a training weapon, yeah, but it's more than that. It was this dirt cheap crude civilian sword, weapon of choice of poor, peasants and badly equipped brigands. You probably can find pictures on the internet: first ones I got when searching "dussack" actually are of a crude (and not so crude) bladed weapon and not of leather or plastic training sword. A blade with a folded poking iron for a handle and guard. Which follows nicely to my second question. "Its curved shape and lack of guard" at 0:28 took me off guard (no pun intended). I mean, it's no saber or rapier with a metal bucket for a handle, but it definitely doesn't lack guard. I'd even argue it has more guard than something like a longsword or an arming sword. One more thing is at 0:45 . I'm, frankly, confused by a block made here. Going for a parry from this position, only to break up the action into two (putting the hand forward then turning the blade upside down and moving in sideways to intercept). It feels VERY awkward for me, and this much slower than going for an intercept from the get go and catching it with upright blade. Never trained dussack by Meyer (or at all, really), but for me it seems like they are purposefully trying to get the blade upside down (for whatever reason) and risking missing the block entirely by this fraction of a second. I fight with mostly saber, and that's my first instinct in this situation. 1:26 seems more like plastic saber than dussack. Guy on the right even has something like a falchion or something, idk. With all that said (or skipped, I wouldn't blame you, that's a wall of text and a half I built here), dussack is a really damn fun and dynamic weapon to fight with. I very much recommend trying it out if you didn't if you ever have a chance.
I think much of it comes from the wording I used. The Dussack is certainly a cheaper 'peasant' sword that allowed for those of lower means but this is looking more is terms of the art form as it stands and so using the training version which is somewhat more unique. The footage used is from a specific school and so I cannot speak to it but it can also come down to the HEMA purposing. So many school have a variety of approaches and reasons for their training needs.
Idk this just looks like a lot of fun 😂
Absolutely!
It looks like a lot of that could be applied to broadsword.
I would say that is very likely. A lot of the movements do suggest it.
no it can't not, is the same in filipino kali whith the kahoi ( stick ) and bolo ( machete ), táctica are similar not equal, bastone is more flexible and lightweight than longsword
Who knew this was a thing? Certainly not me 😂
Have to love the more obscure.
Bjj on crack in the best way possible
Definitely has big similarities.
this looks like capoeira
Yes it is in effect a mix of Capoeira and African dance.
This small channel is a gold mine!
Thank you, I am glad you like it we do our best!
Hehehe I don't have a phone!!!!!!!!!
Easy choice then haha
I don‘t even like chocolate that much😅
😮
😢
Never want sad faces.
Alan Baker turned me on to KFM. Pekiti Tirsia Kali meshes well with KFM.
Nice
Incredible! The athlete fighting in the beginning of the video is our master Renato Ferreira, Black Belt 5th Dan - Leader of the Brasília Luta Livre team. The training session at the end of the video takes place at our headquarters, in Brasília/ DF 🇧🇷
Always good to get the right footage.
