Spent more time fixing the bag than chipping FFS
Very impressive and if you fall in you’ll get stuck lol unlike the big ones where you’ll become a red rainbow 🌈 ☠️
Bought one of these. It's actually really good up to 50mm is really max, it can do 60mm but not easily. Best thing is it's portable size, narrow gate easy. Good tool value for money.
Well its better than a poke in the eye. I used to own a cobra650l, much better machine, that thing looks a bit anaemic
How you getting on with this now days? Thinking off buying one. Is it the lts uk chipper with 6.5hp engine? Cheers
Sei un gran bel figo !
hello mate which model is this is it the ct319 and is it good
Do you sharpen the blades yourself?.
Hi, LTS here. We stock all the spare parts for this machine, including the blades and they’re double sided so when one side gets blunt you can flip it. We have 3 left in stock if interested call 01253697886 ask for Kieran Thx
You are not the sharpest tool in the Set, right?
This Wood chipper 6.5hp is not usable it gets stuck all the time do not buy it
Great video fella, just bought one off the back of this video hope its as good yours ..........
Hi there . did you get the paper work from LTS UK, invoice , and the 2year parts and labour warrant cert?? I got the same chipper 10/12/2019 however no paper work yet. 21/12/19. and have been in touch 4 times on tel. yes its on it way.. sad.
Can anyone confirm this machine can handle 3inch branches as stated by LTSUK ?
we have the same modell but with 7hp engine and yes 3inches is easy when you have soft fresh wood, with hard wood such as olive still possible but with pushing and much slower; always to keep the drum spinning as high as possible... We even passed alsmost dried outr olive wood 2inches but it's not recommended. Use that instead in your fireplace or oven! Check out our test here: th-cam.com/video/68Q6ONVMXOU/w-d-xo.html
My model 6.5 hp . 200cc. Will do up to 60mm, max . 50mm better.
The branches you are feeding look so thin more like twigs. I would love to see this machine handle 76mm branches as claimed by LTSUK
It handles 50mm good , 60 max. I bought one , for £ 550 it's good value as a portable.
Can you like my Facebook page facebook.com/glhandymanservices/
yes lad 👍🏻 sick job
Had mine for over a year now. Takes a little getting used to as at first the machine would jam or get blocked with smaller dense twigs. I actually cut out a bigger hole in the shoot to stop blockages. Works a lot better now. Well worth the money
HOW you made this I actually cut out a bigger hole in the shoot to stop blockages. Works a lot better now. you have a picture or + info?
How are you getting on with this chipper a year later?
Hi mate god vid that Combi is the km 94 to cheers Jacob
Hi buddy what I found works better is adjusting the blades how I did it is loseen bolts use a pound coin to get the right space between blade and anvil. Blades are held in by Alan bolts which can be a bigger. It will work much better buddy.
Hi mate. I got mine today. Exactly the same as yours. Just one question. When you say a pound coin between the blade, do you have to use bigger Allen bolts? I found chipping similar conifer pieces earlier didn’t draw them in as fast so I can see how opening the gap just that little bit would make the difference!
Great video. Harsh is the best cut for leyllandi :-) Just bought one of these chippers. It doesn't feed nearly as well as yours and frequently blocks with chippings. Would be grateful for any set up tips to get a bit more performance from it. Thanks
good little chipper ........get yourself some fencing pins you know the steel ones they use to hold up the orange plastic temporary barrier fencing to hold your bag open ,they work a treat they have hooks on to support the bag
LCHLLO2008 what sort of pins are they?
Any tips on how to feed a small chipper avoiding clogging?
Put less in at once...
@@helenahedgetrimming1818 thanks I've tried that but it still won't pull it in and chip sometimes and also clogs. it's the 5hp Mtd one. What do you suggest? Which make is yours?
Its a pain. this model has a bunch of bolts on the feeder base, not easy to clean out. clogs on dirty material , wet stuff. summer work best. i made a L shaped scraper with 15mm copper pipe about a mtr long, works quite well. good luck.
@@mattseymour8637 - For what it's worth here goes my 2 cents. Keep a number of woody material at hand. Feed your problematic/clogging material, alternating with the woody (drier) material. In my case I did notice a huge difference in what clogging is concerned. The woody material will "clean" the path. Practice and results will improve. Also important, have a serious go on the "user manual". ;-) Cheers
@@crpth1 thanks for the advice. Will try that next time and see how it goes. So just little and often best ?
Nice set up there. Might be worth considering the Hayter 41pro. I have a few videos of it. Great mower. Take it easy 👍🏻
Looks good. Will it go in a transit connect van?
Does she cut 2 to 3inch OK and is she OK on bushy stuff or does she clog up?
we have the same modell but with 7hp engine and yes 3inches is easy when you have soft fresh wood, with hard wood such as olive still possible but with pushing and much slower; always to keep the drum spinning as high as possible... Thanks for the Titan Pro Tip mate....
Hi. Nice setup. Cheers Calvin
Nice cut..looks good thanks
Hi mate, looking to get one of these from ltsuk but the one on their website is a little different. Although 6.5 hp - any ideas?
To be honest I find it better as you no where you are flicking the stones all one way. What i find with the gard on stuff flicks all ways. It's hard to explain you need to try it out to see what I mean.
How do you find using the strimmer without the guard?? Im thinking about removing mine to get closer to things but not sure about stones and stuff being thrown everywhere. Nice vid
Nice chipper. Is that similar to the 6.5hp hornet? Good video of using it in real time. Well done
good job , nice zoom 34
Great idea with the van more acsesabul
Have the same chipper, getting the blades out is a nightmare, allen key insert etc
I got it from LTSUK. It's a great little chipper
How much did you pay for it mate as looking for a chipper at the moment
Ware did you get you chipper from mate it seems good
