Tress is such a beast. So versatile.

Def agree with behind the convention center where the bay is. Sometimes you can even run into celebrities being ushered onto the press yachts. Also, Horton Plaza is a great nearby place for less crowds, food and shopping all in one place. Nerd HQ in the morning is also great and sometimes they have photos for smiles where can get pictures with celebrities who attend panels that day.

As long as I am in line with friendly people, it can actually be fun. Sure, your butt will hurt after a few hours, but I embrace being in line with a ton of other people who have similar interests to me, where we can geek out together. I never sleep much during comic con, so the lack of sleep isn't a problem for me. I just bring snacks and a blanket and things to do, and I'm set. The earliest I ever camped out was at 9:30 the previous night and we had an awesome time. But that's just me.

Agreed! The Doctor Who line on Sunday was the worst I've ever seen it. The Hall H line has never been that long & across the street before 10pm on the previous day. We skipped out on Hall H on Sunday after seeing the line at 10pm on Sat.

If you go to the Mezzanine level you can get food and its usually never crowded. You can easily go outside and sit on stairs to relax, eat, etc. always lots of room.

Every year we meet up with friends and eat at The Spaghetti Factory for lunch. It's a great spot to people watch while waiting for a table.
