11u Son picks up the “new to him” curves and slurves much better if mid-box. He knows (at this age), take the extra couple of inches of drop away and look for a fastball all day. Especially when righty pitchers are getting the ball outside called strike - if always in back of box and the ball is off plate, it’s outside of his bath path sooner. But message received, when we start seeing higher velocities, he’ll move it on back.

I undand respect it. Butt kinda hard when all baseball fields right handed box the holes are in the middle of the box
