It’s a shame no one ever asks Stanley about the footage he actually shot before getting fired. There’s two photos of him filming something with a monkey and a woman in some sort of examination room. I’d really love to know what that was about

Les Mis is my favorite musical, but I really did not like the film at all. I didn’t care for some of the casting. After the stage productions I had seen, the film just fell flat for me.

You're absolutely right. I've seen plenty of interviews, and no one ever brings up Travolta. It's strange because his performance in Pulp Fiction is incredible.

It's been shown on BBC 2 tonight. First time I've seen it but all these names are from my childhood and wow! How fab to see them all together - I couldn't stop watching in awe. Makes me gulp - Roy's musicality was magic.

I'd read that book about the movie, maybe then they could make a movie about the book about the movie.

Travolta's career was dead in the water at that time. And his casting in and of itself made the movie even funnier.

Thanks for this. I heard Jordan sing "If Ever I Would Leave You" on TH-cam a few months ago. I was a musician in my younger years and know a good singer when I hear one. I was hooked immediately and went to NYC to hear Camelot. Amazing! He seems to be a really great guy, too. I'd like to be able to follow what he is doing, but haven't found a place online to keep up with him. Maybe you could encourage him to keep up with his Facebook page or something. I would travel to hear him, especially if he sings with a symphony again. Also appreciated what you're saying about writing musicals. I directed them as a school music teacher and, now that I'm retired, have been playing with writing one myself. Life is so interesting! Jordan is writing about young people issues. I'm writing about near death experience. Ha! Thanks again. And thanks to Jordan. He is a great inspiration!

I like the role of Raoul in The Phantom Of The Opera played by Hadley. His singing voices are just as good as Sierra Boggess "s. who played Christine. In the stage drama.
