Great video, your commentary is excellent. I am 76 yo and my life working on our vehicles, including motorcycles, until just recently. I still do filter changes and other simpler things, we have a Prius, 2021 V6 Highlander, and a 2023 Corvette HTC. The dealerships do almost all of the other work.

i have the 2024 highlander hybrid, i installed similar lights for my wife rav4 prime but i want these lights too, but like other people said the module connector for the rear trunk door is different 2024 vs 2023. what i end up doing is ordered similar LED set from aliex, i run 2 wires from the trunk led lights around the door trim, through the rubber tubing into rear trunk dome light. I didnt cut or soldered any wires, i just tied into the rear dome light bulb so when i open door or click the remote and the interior lights come on, these rear trunk light comes on too. i didnt want to mess or guess with the rear trunk module. as some power wires might be signal so you dont want to be using for lights. at least now i have good lights when i open the trunk.

Some Toyota dealerships charge an outrageous labor fee just to unsnap the clips, remove the old filter, put in the new filter and snap back the clips. Takes less then 30 seconds to do. Do it yourself. Easy peasey. $$$ave a lot of money.

I just bought a 2020 Highlander XLE breaklights are leds too pretty much it came like yours i think all XLE'S come the same way.

Did yours ever turn on pick a color you want then turn them off and one or 2 stay on a random color that what mine are doing I have check all connections and grounds

But I’m wondering if you could create a different tutorial for installing an aftermarket electric tailgate on a Toyota Highlander 2021. Tbh love the cable setup and wire setup but the pressure washer i would go with a k3 power control or a k3 horizontal so u can put it on the wall but karchers have less problems ive seen so many people with power problems on ryobis cause they have cheap materials ik karcher has cheap materials but ryobi is terrible compared to karcher
