200 car behemoth that additionally carried what should’ve been 247’s cars. Only 2 units (the leader and the mid DPU) were powering 249 since CP 8578 had a locked up dummy axle that put yesterday’s 149 into emergency near Nashotah. 248 brought it back to Chicago from there and then onto 249. 9.11.24 at 1615

I was expecting only KCS 2016 to make it all the way to Bensenville after its inspection in St. Paul. But unbeknownst to me, CP 5046 also went to Bensenville rather than Portage, which was a nice surprise. 8.17.24 at 0810
