Yes! Obviously, Thames, Grand Union and Kennet and Avon and other broad canals / rivers. Look at a Canal plan for the cruising area your in.

Yes it is a lovely boat. Wide beams can use all the ‘Broad Gauge’ Canal networks. So for Southern England that includes Thames London to Oxford, Kennet & Avon west to Bristol and Grand Union London north up to Birmingham.
@@ThamesValleyBoats nice I've seen wide beams that are 70*12 I think this one is lush I definitely will have a 70*14 one if I can find a good deal as long as they fit on the GU that's allright since I'm based down there

Now if you could just persuade the wife....! I would love to live on such a boat. Interested to know what a permanent mooring costs per annum. As a caravanner, I can appreciate how well the space has been used....
A basic mooring for this size of boat start from around £3500 per annum and then costs go up nearer to towns, cities and facilities. The average is £7000 in a marina that provides security, car parking, water, electricity etc. So as a caravanner it’s a range from CL to Super Pitch. @@ThamesValleyBoats thank you. We have just gone on the market to downsize and I do wish she would consider a boat such as this. Do they need to be lifted out and cleaned periodically? And silly question, perhaps, but do people actually sail them up and down river? I assume not just because I assume it would take great skill given their size.
@@steveprice638 I have a degree in marine engineering and also a qualified instructor. I have taught many people to drive these boats from scratch with no prior knowledge at all. So yes, they do move around. Many people downsize and if you don't like where you are or your neighbours, you move! We have plenty of stunning waterways to explore in the UK and even abroad.

These boats alone make me want to move to the uk I wouldn’t be able to hold much of a job unless it was on the boat though.
you need to show more of the amenities on the boat. Also a little sound would not hurt! Sorry for the critique I was just wanting a bit more info. Thank you! it is a lovely boat.😀
