He nailed all of this. Thing bout NY is that you can pass through in the day almost anywhere, but you gonna see some shit guaranteed especially in the Bronx. Evening-night, stay out every area he said. It was to the “T”. Lower East side is a place you can go at night because there’s bars and stuff everywhere, but there’s also riff raff everywhere in the LES at night. It’s part of the charm. But like I said, there is riff raff of every part of NYC at night except like, Park slope or upper west side or some shit.
The beat advice I can give anyone visiting the rougher parts of NYC, is just mind your own business above all else.
Nice one Rick ,the Wombats are getting on the hand outs of the halmets.Glad they are helping you with more helmets all easy home runs buddy.J.Y.D.😊😊😂😂😂😂😂👍👍🙏🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
THank you very much Jay!
we are heading to visit NY in December. hope all goes well and enjoy.
Areas to avoid: South Bronx, East New York, Times Square, some parts of Alphabet City-eastward of Avenue C, Washington Heights, Sunset Park-east of 8th Avenue, some parts of Bedford-Stuyvesant, & any poor section of Harlem NY.
Bro, where are you from 1995? Sunset Park east of eighth Avenue what are you gonna get? Jumped like by of Filipino and Chinese people? You mean fifth Avenue to third, and it’s still nowhere near as bad as what used to be 😂 alphabet city really in 2024? I mean there’s. Lillian Wald Houses, but that’s really in the lower east side, not alphabet city
the whole city & 5 oros
Good thing is New York City is nothing new to me because I never traveled to the Bronx and I’m going to Brooklyn in October and I don’t go near Brownsville so Brooklyn is nothing new to me.
Not the whole of the Bronx only the south Bronx
What areas are considered south Bronx? Gunhill? Pelham? Tremont?
@@ericfarrar9185 google the south Bronx. Wikipedia has an article on it along with a map to show what areas are the south Bronx
As a tourist, I would only be interested in Manhattan
It’s understandable. But so many places to see
Brooklyn also has some very interesting neighborhoods, especially North Williamsburg. Well, I'm a bit too plain and old-fashioned for North Williamsburg, which is considered a "hipster" neighborhood, but I enjoy walking through there sometimes. Avoid South Williamsburg - it is a very religious home of Hassidic Jews, the people who wear the long beards and long top coats and top hats with the long wavy curls hanging down, and very few women on the street, mostly men - you would not feel at home there.
Actor Matt Damon either has, or had, a home in Brooklyn Heights, so does that give you an idea of what a lovely Brooklyn neighborhood it is? Senator Chuck Schumer has a home in Brooklyn's Park Slope - also a great neighborhood to visit.
Atleast Canarsie isn’t here because real ones know people who live there wannabe hood real bad 😂
Should be compulsory.
It is the law to wear a helmet . But the vast majority can not afford helmets
@@savvyrickbrown Think if you can afford to run a scooter a helmet wouldn't be a problem, strange how people are so lax with their personal safety.
I was there in ‘92 and I am going to be interested to watch this
Everyone would be curious of what you notice different from 92’
The subway regardless of boroughs is #1...,just use common sense & u should b good.
all of the bronx, northern manhattan, and east brooklyn
😂
Reading the tabloid the New York Post one might believe black people are the only criminals there. Bad black ppl are doing this; doing bad all over the city.
😊😊😊😅😢😂❤
🎉🎉🎉
Areas to avoid in new yawk city, avoid the entire city lol
Doh!😂
truth be told you can get got anywhere in NY if you stick out & you will if your not actually from NY bottom line stay in the general area of your hotel and don't venture to the boroughs without a trusted! guide(as in someone ypou know that from one of those areas mentioned..
Why don’t you just say all the black areas. WTF
Are you ok ? 😮
Yes are you ok. I’m not prejudice unlike you. I feel sorry for you. You are a fading minority of prejudice people who still exist but is getting smaller by the minute.
@@christophercox936the neighborhoods he mentioned aren’t only black but also latino. Like east Harlem
Just avoid the LOW INCOME areas of the city.
All my love to you.
I am an outside vendor that goes around different schools in the city. The worse 1. Bronx 2. East Harlem ( I had materials stolen by children & excused by teachers)
Better to show it on the map
Hellhole demographics. It's one more stolen election away from becoming the next Detroit. I'm so glad I left it in the 80s.
I'm glad he's thankful. Sweet!
❤🎉❤😊
Born and raised in NYC, I never venture into any of the areas on this list for a reason, stay away ! There is no culture or history you need to experience in any of these neighborhoods ! do not be misled by the “not everyone is bad and they are working hard to make it better” narrative. He is not wrong, however the reality is stay away, the bad actors can spot tourists from space and you will be targeted, being vigilant will not help you !
At least show the areas you are talking abut in the video. Bring Back White Flight!
Love this one!
Me too!
Very good man, keep up the good work. You even had her saying to teach her.
Sweet!
Oh yeah!
Glad you are on TH-cam!
@@OenitaBlairJones thank you very much

About Staten Island what the narrator's talking about is Richmond Terr & Bay St. Those are the 2 most dangerous going along.
Used to deliver all over port Richmond, and Brighton in the projects nd never felt unsafe Staten Island is fine if you mind ya business
A lot of neighborhoods were left out. 1. Bronx: Crotona, they have a big park & The Bronx Zoo. Stay in those areas. Tremont, very cultural neighborhood. Mostly Hispanic but has Little Italy in The Bronx. Proceed with caution. 2. Manhattan: Lower East Side is rough. But they have spots like The Tennement Musuen, Ube soft serve ice cream, & The Williamsburg Bridge. 3. Queens: Avoid the Queensbridge section of Long Island City & beware of Jackson Heights. 4. Brooklyn: I don't care what anybody says, Flatbush & Coney Island, the neighborhood are the worst. Church Ave never lives up to it's name & stay in the amusement park area. Don't pass W 20th St. Use the boardwalk to get to Sea Gate on W 37th St
Thanks, man that really helped. I recently moved to Westchester and want to learn about the city for exploring, especially after hearing all the news about the rising crime rate.
But the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights are beautiful. Actor Matt Damon either has, or had, a home in Brooklyn Heights, and Senator Chuck Schumer and former NYC mayor Bill deBlasio have homes in Park Slope - so that shows what lovely neighborhoods they are.
WEST FARMS IS THD BEST PART OF THE BRONX WELCOME TO THE 10460
@@bkdopeboi No - Riverdale is the best part of the Bronx - one of the FEW good parts of The Bronx. Not many.
@@kingsilver1610believe half of what you hear and all of what you see NYc tends to be a different experience for each and every individual in its own. Many will venture few will fit in and the last thing you need to know is that NYC is a place where some people make it or break it it’s not for the faint of heart nor the most fantastic b-tch however those who can croon to the aggregate without being semantically disheveled belong in Yonkers trust the Bronx may give crazy but the other 4 Borough’s are BONKERZ!!!😂😂😢 ……oh and WELCOME TO THE BRONX! 🎉
That's great man. I hope your getting some donations. You should make a go fund me if not.
Thank you . I set up a go fund me . It’s in my bio . I don’t get many donations and any help is appreciated ❤😊❤
Good job Mate ❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
❤Thank you very much ❤
Switched off the music too bothersome
You "sugarcoat" the bad areas too much - if you were more realistic about the dangers of places like Brownsville and East New York, you could save your viewers being robbed or assaulted. Brownsville has been called "The Murder Capital of New York." Thumbs down for a non-real video.
What did he try? Get that 😺?
The street scene at 2:00 is Brownsville?! 😮
I doubt that the street scene is Brownville. Brownsville is NOT that nice!
You not even from here.
Who?
This video technically does not bring no accuracy to the realization of Urban Decay. It's False Data reporting and Fear mongering. As the power Structure is all fixing and maintaining neighborhoods to be a certain way for all of it's fixtures and problems that they designed designated.
Got a nice smiley face for your free helmet Rick.Buddy well done and a home run for sure & J.Y.D. as well😉😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍🙏🙏
❤❤❤thanks so much Jay❤❤❤
It does not matter where you are in NYC. It's been flooded with 175,000 illegal immigrants. It's like the 3rd world now. Crime is up. Robbery, theft, pickpocketing, stabbings, shootings, women getting punched in the face while walking in West Village in broad daylight, Times Square is not safe, nowhere is safe. NYC is done. It's gross. Don't go. I lived there since 1995 and left 5 years ago. They don't punish low level crimes, so people commit bigger crimes.
Broken, Glass, Everywhere, People, Pissing,, On the Stairs, Like They Just Don't Care.!.
😂😂😂
@@savvyrickbrown "It was All Dream like" biggie said too as well as my Grand Master Flash and furious Fives "The Message"
That is only in a few places - most of NYC is NOT like what you describe. Be fair.
@@cathynewyork7918 very true his data is definitely 100% outdated material. But he's describing as something from 20 and 30 years ago. Definitely not 2024 NYC we got much bigger problems and neighborhoods for the most part have changed citywide even as far as the demographics.
@@michaeldoldron8444 You're right. His video script reads more like a Disneyland public relations release, NOT "real world New York." Wow.
😅 this is the best.
Thank you ❤🎉❤
Areas to avoid in New York: New York.
This is a terrible comment. New York City is a very exciting place. Yes, there are some neighborhoods that are bad, but so much of this city is exciting and world-class.
Someone beat u to this comment. Things you should avoid..plagiarism
Areas to avoid in New York. 1. Manhattan 2. The Bronx 3. Queens 4. Staten Island 5. Brooklyn

Watch your mouth comment
@@davidgivins4203 'TH-cam comment section tough guy ' Laughable, man.
@cathynewyork7918 Obviously I'm joking, although crime is a big problem in all the boros but that doesnt mean there aren't any nice areas in NYC. Anyone that comes here to visit should just be vigilant of their surroundings, and they should be fine (maybe). Haha. Just messin' around again(or am I?).
His not having it i reckon a candy would to the job😂😂😂 thank you mum for accepting the helmet and he will get use to wearing it.Not a easy home run but you did it Buddy and definitely J.Y.D.😂😂😂
Can't believe it he was to shy to have the helmet but mum will hopefully put it on him when out and about .Great job buddy and J.Y.D. 👍👍🙏🙏✌️✌️👏👏
