@@ethansquires8322 Chinese scooters share a lot of parts. Pull your old battery out and use the markings on the battery to search for a replacement. If you don't find an exact match on the cable, you could remove it and measure length and take note of both ends. Search eBay, I'm sure there will be one close to it.

sounds like the flywheel key is sheared. Remove the flywheel to verify.

@ it was not sheared. That mf was spinning backwards

@unknwon999 been awhile since I had the razz, but the only other thing I can think of is the starter one way bearing gear.

@ the magnets broke off and i didnt align them right when i jb welded them back in so i need a new starter now

@unknwon999 I never had luck in rebuilding starters, they are super cheap on ebay. Same with carbs

As long as your spider and nut are all the way seated it’s normal. Just make sure the washers on either side are still there.

Sold that ski a long time ago, it already had all the hookups for a water hose when I bought it. If I remember correctly, it all looked stock and all skis would have a similar set up. Hope this helps.

Sorry you have that experience. I use Amsoil in both oil and trans, zero issues. I used Motorcraft and had engine stiction, zero stiction with Amsoil and no additives. My transmission also stays cooler with Amsoil transmission fluid, zero slip. I pull around 16k too. It's personal choice and I've been happy with it.

No cl on the f350. Just a code since it's transmission. I would buy a cheap obd reader on Amazon for around $20 and maybe post that on one of the escape Facebook groups. Hope that helps

I'm not 100% positive on your issue, but if it was not in a limp mode before, then it has to be what you've done. Did you use an OEM sensor? Did you make sure it clicked in correctly? Does your trans temp show temperature? If it were me, I would put an obd reader on it, write the codes and clear them. Then disconnect both your batteries for an hour and reconnect. See if that helps. Post your codes.

Eek, that's no good. I don't really know the innerworkings of a transmission, but if it were me, I would verify the pump is even working. Sounds like it's not circulating the fluid or your system is blocked. I would verify the pump by disconnecting the top transmission fluid line on the cooler and see if it's pumping fluid out. This is just what I would try, I'm no transmission professional though. My transmission temp only got to the 160s and that was pulling my 15k loaded trailer. It was over 90 degrees out too.

Thanks for the questions, since the cert repair, I've had zero leaks. I also feel the cert is a much better solution especially being the lowest part of the engine where oil is always present. I've had helicoils remove themselves when removing the bolts going thru them, not the case here, especially if you lock tite the cert. Hopefully this answers your questions.

Hello, I have always used 32:1 on any of my 2 stroke powersports. This was a video on how the previous owner ruined this motor by running straight gas in it with the oil injection pump not working.

agree. I ended up selling it as parts are nil.

@@MPDano damn, I just bought it for $800 not knowing parts for these craps are really a one of a hell to find... but oh well I guess buying rare Chinese atv engine are nor worth it all and might as well stick around with the most common engine on the market but um thanks!

@@mariocastillo7834 is your intake cracked? If so, you can use black rtv to seal it up for the time being. Can't remember if they were the rubber kind.

@@MPDano yes it actual cracked, carb are easy to find... expensive but easy but the intake? Yeah hard as hell, but no these aren't the rubber variants, there are the actual aluminum ones... you know the ones you find on the 110cc-125cc intake manifold. I tried welding it by a professional and nope... air still leaks... at this point I may consider doing some modification to the carb intake or something... but thanks for the help dude!

I had verified chain tension as well as valve lash last year, and all was to spec. No change in noise. Runs perfect so leaving it as/is.

I had sold the Quad years ago so no idea on the location, otherwise I would look for you. I'm sure by removing some of your plastics, it will show right up. I would look by the battery first.

Yup.

They make rebuild kits for the clutches as well. I would inspect yours to make sure there are no cracks or excessive wear before replacing.

What about fuel? Try a couple squirts of starting fluid under the air filter. Valves could be out of spec. Also the flywheel key can sheer on the crank.

@@dupiilatuk7697 if the flywheel key is sheared, it affects the timing. Can't remember on my KTM but my Honda has the timing mark on the opposite side of the crankcase.

The KTM had a bad bog on fast throttle up. Installed the Tokyo Mod and it eliminated the issue.

Actually the case broke again after repair. I ended up selling it to another owner who wanted to try and repair it. I couldn't find a used or new case so gave up.

Honestly it's been a few years and forgot where I found out how to make one. There were a few pieces to it.

Yeah, I verified valves and chain tensioner, etc. It must be the way it is. About to take it out to the desert this weekend after along hibernation.

Sorry for the late reply but those wheels came with it when I bought it. Sold it as my son outgrew it.

Yeah, it just sat so I gave it a better home and hopefully the new owner is riding it how it should be.
