It's nice and fresh. I would have left it a bit longer length so she could do it herself at home for a softer look.

It's a cute haircut for this lady, if that's what she wanted. But I don't think shorter always means younger looking. The stylist is great at her job, but I think any stylist that said, "you need age appropriate hair", like one commenter stated, I would have walked out.
