Dawn Mass Procession 2020 Pietrelcina
Christmas Dawn Mass 2020 at the Franciscan Convent church in Pietrelcina, actually started at 6pm on 24th December 2020. The first part of the service, with prayers and scripture readings, took about 50 minutes and ended with a procession that welcomed in the Christ Child. Father Fortunata, the provincial, carried in the statue. This was the same statue carried by St. Padre Pio in an identical service many years before. Finally, the 'Shepherds' played the traditional pipes to welcome the child among us. It was really touching and so very true to the real Christmas Spirit. Praise God!

Came across this lovely❤ video, Thank you for sharing….since a child my mom use to buy me books abt saints & other spiritual books, & Padre Pio’s life was fascinating to me, until adulthood I would often pray him or just think abt stuffs he wrote to keep my faith going….surprisingly this year my baby girl was born on his feast day 23rd September, she was due on 2nd October…( sometimes I wonder if that’s a sign😊)🙏🏼🌸 I thank GOD in all cases.

Nice video; thanks . My invention shown in this video allows you to set up the mandrel atop the well and as the pipe is made you could lower it into the well; you can perforate it if you wish also. The area I grew up as a kid the first 20m is sand/clay and pumice after that is hard greywacke stone that needs a trycone to drill though, water is almost anywhere in the valley is 30-50m down but the water for the center pivot irrigation system punches through this layer though a few meters of clay then theres a second water table, still pretty bad water so kept going to the third water table about 250 meters down they kept drilling and reached TD 300 somewhere around there.

Good point! I guess these guys know about that but choose to do it this way. This is the main contractor in the area for drilling wells and they do hundreds of them. It is a necessary accessory for all the small farms around here and even for every house in the countryside. I have never heard of one single accident connected to this work but that does not mean there are none. Perhaps they will see this and comment.

The gravel that was poured down the well was probably Bentonite. This expands on contact with water and makes a good seal between the bore hole and the casing. Just out of interest are the tubes used to line the well made of PVC or Polypropylene?
Sorry, I have no idea. It was an Italian company that did it and, unfortunately, my Italian is not great and I did not ask them.
I think it is irrelevant whether PVC or Polyprop was used. Both are very stable in the ground. It is only in the air and in particular sunlight (source of uv-light) that PVC may leach chlorine to the environment.
The gravel was not bentonite, it is simply a gravel pack that goes on the bottom of the well up to the point they first hit water. The blue casing is the well casing and a pump goes inside that, thats why the slits are put into the pipe.
