Pretty close between Assetto Corsa, Le Mans Ultimate and Automobilista 2. Forza Motorsport is like half a distance away from them, pretty sad when this Cadillac is literally the cover car on FM and they still fumbled the sound of it.

I know this is an old video, but I looked into editing the files on FH3, and I managed to make the Skyline R34 and Supra sound better. I recently started playing FH3 on PC, and I modified the files. Both the Skyline and Supra are assigned their specific sounds, but a "granular" bank is also assigned separately, and I guess the granular bank takes priority. Removing this bank from the .xml data lets them instead used the assigned sounds. This allowed me to make the Supra in FH3 sound normal and the Skyline to sound normal too (which by the way is the same sound the R33 uses). If I had to guess, AI cars skip the granular data and just prioritize the regular engine assignments. This is why a lot of people often notice the AI drivatars have better-sounding cars, because they probably don't use the granulars. The R33 sound we hear in-game, the sound that people prefer of the RB26s, is actually the sound the R34 normally uses, and the R33 sound is actually what the in-game R34 uses. The R33 is a granular bank and takes priority. This R33 sound is also assigned to the Supra. "engineName" is the sound that's supposed to be assigned, but gets replaced by the granular sound. So I went in and took the Skyline R34 for example: <Engine mediaName="NIS_SkylineGTRVSpecII_02" engineName="NIS_SkylineGTRVSpecII_02"> <GranularEngine granularBank="GS_TOY_SupraRZ_98" granularAssets="I6TM_SkylineR33GTR" rpmScalar="0.9"> <Engine>I6TM_Supra_Eng</Engine> <Exhaust>I6TM_SkylineR33GTR_Exh</Exhaust> <Intake>I6TM_Supra_Int</Intake> <InternalL>I6TM_SkylineR33GTR_InL</InternalL> <InternalR>I6TM_SkylineR33GTR_InR</InternalR> </GranularEngine> </Engine> And I removed the granular section, so that it just became: <Engine mediaName="NIS_SkylineGTRVSpecII_02" engineName="NIS_SkylineGTRVSpecII_02" /> And that did the trick. Same thing with the Supra as well as the BMW M4 2014. So doing this trick for the Supra RZ will give you the more familiar sound.

Itll be straight to the 963 at Le Mans will be interesting to see just how far away Ill be from Kevins pole time. Its really unbeliavable Turn10s incompetence, teams wich MUCH less people and resources can make a car that sound MUCH MUCH better and drives much better, shame on them

Just to mention that in the sound department, LMU for me is the clear winner. And I risk to say that even in car control...but thats just my thoughts. 👍

Don’t Know if that car is on GT7 But it would be the best experience if so.

I don't even consider FM as a valid alternative to the other two. Having said that, I think that the battle between AC and LMU is really tight. I do prefer LMU in terms of sound, but I think that AC is the one which really makes you feel the speed of the car, especially when you're pushing hard!
