Read the theology of the body, by Pope John Paul 2, if you want to know what the Catholic Church really teaches about sex.

Not so sure about this. Freud also got people thinking more about sex. And in American culture, the feminist movement and magazines like Cosmopolitan got people feeling they needed a certain amount of orgasms to be content, not to mention the effect of the Playboy myth influenced by Hugh Hefner etc

Alan Watts is a great writer and a right man. I read thirty years ago a book about Buddhist zen, the way of zen, I remember it yet.

In my opinion the whole concept of love in christianity is based on sex and procreation. Nothing else.

(21:51) the body doesn't "decay", it goes through different phases for different purposes, so that in each particular phase, there are appropriate activities for that phase :)

(18:19) not the "spiritualization" but the direction of a force to it's proper place, which is done by the power of God, acting within you

(16:38) - the only way you can "be in charge" of your body, is by surrender to God, who has the power and the intelligence and the wisdom, to direct his creation - if you, the stupid unaware human being (though you have some awareness, it is certainly limited here on the earth) try to "be in charge", all kind of folly and mistakes will ensue - as it did when adam and eve turned from the guidance of God that was within them, to trying to guide themselves with their own limited knowledge and awareness - yes? :)
