Titjikala Drone Footage - North East Hills
On the edge of the Simpson Desert lies the little town of Titjikala. It's full of treasures. This video captures just a small part of the hills north east of town. The dried up creeks and riverbeds resemble branches and trees, some of the desert flowers are in bloom and as always, I'm in awe of this land and the people who live here. It's a great privilege to spend time with this aboriginal community (it will be 10 weeks in total), and I love exploring my surrounds.
The drone I'm using is the DJI Mini 4 Pro.

Whilst living and working at Titjikala Art Centre as an intern from the National Art School, I took this footage of the surrounding area and township. Titjikala has a population of around 200 people and is locally known as Tapatjatjaka. Titjikala means land of the eagle.
Outback Australia Drone Footage - Roadtrip to Tijikala

These were practice videos I took as I learnt to use a drone in outback Australia. The sites include a rest stop about an hour from Uluru, Kings Creek Station (near Kings Canyon) and Gross Bluff (on the Merinee Loop - 4WD track). I've stitched together a few scenes to create this short clip. Looking forward to taking more footage and sharing along the way.
Mitsubishi Pajero Camper and Cargo Conversion

My friend Gary designed and built this removable platform in my Mitsubishi Pajero for a road trip I'm going on. I absolutely love it. There's cargo storage and a platform to sleep on. I bought a trifold Spinifex matress which I picked up from Anaconda. Gary's a retired design & technology / woodwork teacher. Note: the two back seats (was a 7 seater) were removed.

This video is of my daughter Kate - moving a mob of cattle which had just been used in a Cattle Dog Trial in Nowendoc, NSW. Her dogs are working the back end. So proud of this girl.
