Great video. I have both sizes and here in Alaska no one cares how big it is. The small one doesn’t flip easily due to the frame lock. In fact it’s a kind of a pain with right handed flipping so I agree with you there. The large one has enough real estate that the frame lock doesn’t get in the way. I’m very impressed with the slicing of both models.

agree with this knife philosophy, practical attitude, any knife will work, even stone tools, stone tool knife making techniques.

Now Jan 2024 and browsing vids on knives and machetes. this was a great overview, done well to get a clear perspective on the machete variations and a little history. I like matchets and big knives. Don't forget you got to have a sheath, of some kind, don't leave home without it.
