I believe my dad did the best he could I just feel that we have a lot of trauma it would of been easier to heal if we did not have to deal with stonewalling an emotional neglect or gaslighting but sadly we have to endure me and my brother. My brother has a lot of issues on his own from deploying and being a vet. I just hope this country begins to spend as much on rehabilitation and therapy with these groups of ppl like myself as they do on artillery or weapons.
Look into the articles below an study it for better understand of where I am coming from, also I touched on high functioning/ autism and my non diagnosis idk if I have this or not perhaps its ADHD what I do know is I am fearful. I am fearful to go into a facility a be screened again for them to either say well you made it this far or its not that important for you " or that I just have BPD like most ppl in my demographic. Sometimes I feel we should gather together and have a BPD partly for all the times we hear it before a professional even gets to know us. How is it? that you can LOOK at a person and just plainly say they have BPD without even getting to know the person. For the professional who said I made it this far well thanks that is better than you taking one look at me and saying bipolar before even having a chance to dig into my childhood or having a understanding of my life and choices, thanks
