I’ve got a S&W 681 no dash. It was stamped incorrectly too in the same way as a 68-1. Guessing mine never had the recall performed on it either as there is no “M” on the crane.

You forgot the best! The VEPR, I have two one serial number off. These are hard to get from Russia, but I got them 2 days before they were shut down by the US.

...the 39 was the first pistol I ever bought (in Germany, through the post Rod & Gun Club)in 1972...I wanted a P-38, but the Club manager suggested the 39 instead...I unfortunately sold it when I moved from NJ to FL 45 years ago in 1979...9mm ammo was almost impossible to find in the 70s...

Loved mine. Full length barrel, EBR stock. Issued for my DMR role from 2011-2013. We did work together. If I recall mine had a fixed 12x NF scope.

Well I have both Arsenal Sam7 61 and Zastava m70 M LOK long rail version. Lots of Romanian AK's Romy G and WUM-1, SAR-1, WASR 10. I also have a MAADI MISR 10 long story short I'm an AK fan LoL.

In the 70s gun laws in Germany were more liberal than in the US today. Unfortunately we in Germany lost pretty much 99% of free access to firearms after we had a communist terrorist attack where some politicians were assassinated and today its pretty much impossible for average Klaus to buy a firearm. There are certain ways but its a huge hassle, and the government can come any time unannounced to control your gun(s) and being politicially active for certain parties usually lead to you losung your license alltogether even though the parties themselves are legal and democratomically elected with representation in all parliaments
