great job. Shows exactly what I wanted to see. Keeping in mind this process will be faster after about the 3rd or 4 time of setting it up.
There is a gasket you can buy and install on the door of the stove which will allow you to damper the fire, slowing down the burn which should allow you to put a few logs on and they will burn over 4-5 hours. The winnerwell used to ship with this gasket up until ten years ago now the gasket is not included. There’s a TH-cam video I found describing how to install. Can be purchased at your local hardware store.
@thehovermatic1243 thanks.. you are the second person to suggest this and we will definitely do it and report back! Thanks and thank you for watching and helping with your comment!
What are your camping plans? You should take Route 66 out to AZ! We went for two weeks in Feb 2023, Jan 2024 and plan on going again in next month. So many beautiful spots in the desert. Warm weather during the day, cold temps at night and plenty of open scenic spaces to pitch the skyliner. Alabama looks beautiful too. Some day we will make it out that way, but not in the summer, we Oregonians don’t do too well in the humidity.
@thehovermatic1243 hi! Not sure what our plans are yet as I do have a day job and would have to figure out how to be able to work remotely.. power, internet, etc. We are still working on a plan to convert our cargo trailer to support this idea. One thing about Alabama here is the season change from fall to winter is like switching a light switch... one day still hot, the next day freezing! Thanks for watching and stay tuned!
The quality problems with the stove are kind of shocking to me. I always regarded Dometic being a reliable brand - owning a freezer, most of the Go kit, those are just perfect. Was about to buy new upgraded 2 cook 3 turbo, but now I am not sure anymore. OTOH, looking into some other brands in stores, those outdoors cookers are all kind of flimsy. And btw - 1-2 months ago Cadac International released a plancha. Not sure you can buy it separately though. They have also introduced a 1 burner and 3 burner cokers.
@PetrKrenzelok thanks.. one thing about these large manufacturers is they are constantly putting out different versions and upgrades so things and availability is always changing. We don't know if the flimyness is just the nature of these things as weight is also pretty important. We will continue to use this and keep everyone posted! Thanks!
@RVFreeSpirits What I am curious about is, if I should get a turbo version, or the one you've got. While the turbo is supposed to be cca 20% faster in boiling water, some ppl reported two problems - recessed burners to the bottom caused the table burns in one of the reviews, the other person reported, that contrary to the marketing claims, that while the hidden burner might be more wind prone, the flame is weaker. But as with any product, there are going to be both positive and negative reviews, so buying new model might be hit or miss.
@PetrKrenzelok we considered the turbo version but it was not available yet in USA yet. I believe there are extra safety features on that one, too ... but maybe just more things that can break. For anything other than fast water boiling, I don't think you need more heat. Great conversation though!
Awesome

@@Wisdom-Nuggets-Tid-Bits thank you.. exactly why we are talking about it! Thank you for watching and commenting!
How do you level a tent and why?
@Wisdom-Nuggets-Tid-Bits people build platforms for long term use but all we have seen is to pick the best level spot you can and consider tent orientation! For the stove, some people may dig out an area to level the stove but the stove pipes have to align. Thanks again!
@@RVFreeSpirits Thank you!
@Wisdom-Nuggets-Tid-Bits we did make some videos about why to level but perhaps will make another specifically about it! Thank you!
@@RVFreeSpirits Awesome thank you. Maybe I can look in your library and find it. Blessings.

You said you had a coleman stove, why the change? I have one similar to that one, it a backup to a backup. Personally the coleman stove, gasoline, you just cant beat.Mine is the 414 dual fuel powerhouse. If you know what your doing this stove will run on white gas, unleaded, alcohol, kerosene, diesel, and with a 20 dollar attachment propane, it literally can do it all. With a 10,000 and 7,000 btu burners, for me being able to burn almost anything is just the ultimate stove for camping, grid down or SHTF
Try a Camp Chef stove. They’re pretty solid.
Thanks for the info! Hopefully won't need to get another but will definitely keep it in mind! Thanks for watching!
Is there a regulator on that stove?
Hi! Thanks for watching! The stove DOES come with a small regulator for a 1 lb camping stove propane bottle. There is a Quick Disconnect adapter as well, which I used to connect to a standard grill propane tank using a low pressure hose and regulator. See the other videos we have on the CADAC to show that!
P.S. love your home !!
Thank you! 🫶🏡
Hi guys from Scotland. Yes I’ve also seen many reviews but mine are Oz and UK. You are going to love it. So many options to cook what ever you fancy. Also I love the idea of the different ways to use gas (butane or propane). My upgrade comes tomorrow 25th September and can’t wait to go to Loch Lomond this weekend to use it. Would love an update from you from the last 3 months. Hope you guys are doing good 😎👍🏴
Thanks so much for watching and replying! We love it but there are some updates to talk about and we plan to make a video about it soon!

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting! Either it came back or there was another that wasn't so lucky!
Good it hurt to see you fumble with that saw.
@ricktaylor5744 I purchased this one with a very aggressive blade that I wasn't used to... but that's the point of showing it and using it in real world situations! Thanks for your comment and watching!!!
@@RVFreeSpirits I understand. Have fun and keep them coming.
No leaking is just as important as ice retension for me. Good video, thank you.
@kcduce3652 Right!!!!? I don't need a cooler that holds ice for 2 weeks... I need it to keep everything IN the cooler! I have no idea how these super-expensive coolers with latches can even be considered properly manufactured when they leak! That also means there is NO positive seal. CRAZY! Thanks so much for watching and sharing your comments!
Thank you guys.
Great video! Thanks for making it. I had the single version of this KingCamp. I purchased it and returned it twice. I found tiny pin holes that you could see the light coming through it. It probably is not a major flaw but just the same, the manufacture should fix this issue. I am now considering purchasing the KingCamp double shower because I have this idea to use it as a garage for my electric bikes that I haul inside my toy hauler. Since that middle door opens up into one big room it would work perfect. At night I have to roll them down the ramp and outside to bring the Murphy bed down to sleep on. I am surprised no one has thought to design a double shower tent that is both a garage and a double shower with all the electric bikes now on the market for campers. My bikes are not water proof and this would also help me feel more secure about leaving them outside.
@@stlphotoandvideo what a great idea to use it for! It seems like it would make a great hiding place as well. We share these videos because you never know what someone might get out of them. Thanks for watching!

You don't need to sleep outside, use the trailer like you would camping. If you plan on cooking in it, cook in it. Put some chairs in it and sit in it like you are camping. That will give you a idea of what you need and want.
We are still waiting for it to stop raining so we can give that a go!
@@RVFreeSpirits not every day is going to be sunshine and roses. If you can do it when it's crappy, you will be good when it is nice.
@@dangeroustoman wise and sage advice! Thank you!
Gotta like a good project.
Wendy has soo many ideas!
For God's sake! If you can afford a $2000 tent, surely you can afford a set of Bluetooth microphones! Useless video.
Yeah.. it is an investment toward fun and adventure for sure! We are looking for something that will let us both talk that will work on an android phone. Any suggestions?
Looks great! Enjoy! I cover my floor with two moving blankets from Harbor Freight. Just to protect the investment.
Thanks for the great idea! Wendy is looking at rug ideas!
Good luck with your new Springbar! Here's to many happy nights camping and the adventures it brings you both! It will never take you that long to assemble, now that you have done it once. Staking takes the longest time so I suggest getting a second staking hammer. With two staking , it just cuts the walking time down like crazy. Work on opposite sides, at the same time, and maintain tension on the perimeter and you'll be amazed how easy it is to set up!
Thank you! We can't wait to share more!
Great video guys 😊

Its not solar powered.
Hi! This fan has a rechargeable battery and INCLUDES a small solar PANEL that plugs into a USB-C connector on the fan which can be used to charge the battery during the day. The battery lasted all night on low setting and only used about 30% of the total charge. It can be used WHILE the panel is plugged in and charging. The solar panel wire can be disconnected so at night you don't need to keep it wired up and you can move the fan around easily without worrying about the wire and solar panel. Check out the link to see the product info. I didn't expect it to work as good as it does! You can probably use the included solar panel to charge any USB-C device, too... but that is just conjecture on my part and I doubt it has much power. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! -Dave
@@RVFreeSpirits Did you ever fine the name of that fan?
@henriettasimon8813 hi! Link to fan on Amazon is in the description!
@@RVFreeSpirits Thanks Just ordered one!
@@henriettasimon8813 awesome! Let us know what you think!
Hey Wendy! I just bought a White Duck Prota Deluxe 10x14. The design is "borrowed" from the original Springbar. Except I have large triangle windows on each end, and a front and back entrance. Besides that, not much difference. Hope you enjoy your tent. It's nearly 100 degrees here in S. Carolina.
That sounds awesome! Oh how cool is that!, a front and back door... I love that. 😀 yeah we REALLY wanted to sleep outside last night but 98% humidity ugh no lol🥵 Thank you so much for sharing your experience and excitement with us. We love learning from everyone 😃 We'd love to visit Cali sometime...I've never been there. Wonder Full Travels to you!
I've been pulling a travel trailer for ten years now. This is just me, but, I can't understand using a gas stove outside. The food is going to taste the same as cooking inside. When cooking outside, I use a cast iron charcoal grill or the campfire. On the other hand, I also do "overlanding" with my four wheel drive. In this case, I use a one burner butane stove for ease of use and for ease of packing. Happy trails!
Thanks for sharing! We are gearing up for different situations... apparently sometimes there are fire bans where you cannot use wood or charcoal. Sometimes you may just want a way to cook quickly. We love to hear everyone's thoughts, ideas, and experiences!
@@RVFreeSpirits did you know that in California, you actually need a permit to have a camp fire? It's free and easy enough to get online. I carry a propane ammo box fire pit as well as a stainless steel fire pit which I burn wood pellets in. Although wood gives the best fire experience, the other two are really easy for clean up. You'll see it's a never ending story of trying the latest and greatest gadgets. It's all part of the journey.
@2-old-Forthischet we just also got a propane ammo box as well! We are going to make a video about it soon. You can laugh at us newbie gadget hunters! Lol... We both totally agree wood of any type is a way way better fire experience whenever possible and reasonable. We were also surprised to find out about not bringing foreign firewood to areas! Something we never really thought about before! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I did many music festivals, and similar outings, and went thru Cobb Supreme, Weber Go Anywhere charcoal, and liked them a lot. Some sites don't allow charcoal grils anymore. Now I have my first gas small Cadac Safari Chef 30. They all share one disadvantage though - missing two separate sources of heat / two burners. We don't eat only a meat, etc., but want some potatoes, rice, etc. Hence looking into the Cadac 2 cook 3 too. Still thinking about the needs vs versatility and convenience. Cobb can serve you as an oven to bake, most of the gas burner based units can't, etc.
😂 cool
Would be nice not to hear the wind chimes. Very annoying.
Yeah, sorry about that, they were directly behind me🫢...and Dave speaks so softly. We'll be sure to take them down for videos. Thanks for stopping by and for letting us know. Happy travels 😊
Stay tuned for an upcoming video on our final thoughts of the IcyBreeze Platinum Portable Air Conditioner Cooler
That's pretty cool. Larger than the tent I typically sleep in. Definitely gives you some privacy for shower and potty. And those instant tent designs are really easy to erect. Enjoy your outings and since you're new to camping it's a good idea to keep good notes on things you forget to bring or other needs as they pop up on your first couple of outings. Have fun!
