I live in Concord at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. Great place to live. Close to the subway. With this boom in construction, expect alot more traffic on Highway 7 connecting you to the 400 for your daily commute. Good place to live if you are a heavy bus/subway user.
Hi Kurt! You live in beautiful towers. And yes! We hate the construction on Hwy 7; we try to avoid it at all costs😀 Alternate routes galore! That's the cool thing about living in the VMC community; you can use public transportation to your advantage and get to downtown Toronto in less than 50 mins. Hello Temitope, Great questions you asked, some I would I have to make a video to answer them😃 However, in a nutshell, a one bedroom apartment can go anywhere from 1000-1500 give or take. Georgian college is a little north from South Barrie, about 40 min-1 hr bus ride or a 9 min car ride. Bus fare can cost $3.50 for a one way fare. Hi Uriel 👋🏾 Welcome to Canada! The requirements set by the landlord must be met in order to rent an apartment or basement in Ontario. I can give you a general idea. You will typically need to present identification documentation, evidence of income, a credit report, references, a rental application, and first and last month's rent as a newcomer. However, it might be difficult for newcomers who haven't found work to present evidence of income or a credit report. In such circumstances, demonstrating the ability to pay for more than a few months' worth of rent or offering a local co-signer may be helpful. Your approval may also be strengthened if you present a statement from your bank confirming that you have enough money to pay for more than a few months' worth of rent. You can work with a realtor who has direct access to landlords to learn about their particular requirements. Is there any public college or university in Bradford?
Hi Kay@@kaybrown2201, unfortunately, there is no direct post-secondary school in Bradford. However, Bradford is a 30-35 minute drive to York University or Seneca College in Toronto and Georgian College in Barrie. -Solomon
