Dang... That's a new truck...1996?!!! My newest car is a 1991! 🤣
My 1989 shortbed reg cab 1500 Silverado came with this sweet little feature.
Im an autobody tech, and they were soo much easier to work on back then,,, and they payed more too,, cars/trucks are harder to work on now and they dont pay as much,, how TF does this make any sense
Love my 96 tahoe. Shes rusty but trusty. Might take the engine out and build it for a hotrod. When the body rust away.
Still drive 97 Silverado. Alternator swap is about 15min on my bosses Toyota took 4hrs
I didn’t understand till recently bc everything changed after COVID and some are hanging onto their old cars by a thread. Bout 2 years ago it became more expensive to fix an old car than to pay monthly for a new . You pay monthly for 3-5 years, then after 3-4 years when your car is fully paid off and has 30-40k miles you trade in and get another before you drive it into the ground and end up with a unreliable pos. They used to build silverados to go 10 years. Now everything is designed to last 5 years.
I'm going to get one some day had a 98 Chevy truck..
I've gotta 94 Chevy dually with a 454. It's a tank.
Chevy sucks
FORD, DODGE, SUCK !!!!!
I have a 1998 F150. Was my first truck ever and have owned it for 12 years. Can't beat older trucks. Gonna rebuild the suspension this weekend. My dad got it for me, and he loved it so much. He passed away last year, but I know he can still see everything I'm doing to it.
I'm the 90s they complained there was no room to work on anything.
My 2015 2500HD gas actually has more room than that. I recently put new exhaust manifold bolts and gaskets on basically did it all through the fenderwells there's so much open room.
The one tool was a 10 mil wrench ❤
