Xou literally have to deactivate your antvirus doftware so he can scan your pc for competing software. You do this and your access still gets blocked because of a false positiv. Then you have to beg him to unblock your access. 300€ down the drain. I wouldnt recommend doing business with this guy.

the software itself doesn't seem to be complicated, the hard bit is to have a proper DB of error cases and the experience/know-how that went into it so this guy wants to make money for his work, big deal? ok he uses intrusive DRM/spyware, not cool but what alternative does he have? anyway if you repair many consoles then it makes sense to have just one basic computer dedicated to this with essentially nothing else on it I'm too uninterested in modern consoles to care about this, if you are willing to put up with the incredibly draconian modern ToS of Sony's newer consoles, then what is the big deal with this? personally i hard pass on modern consoles, Windows, or Mac for that matter - the hell with all of them

This guys software is hijackware/spyware/ransomeware, he will sell you this software which scans your entire PC without telling you what it's scanning, will not let you even open task manager and then maybe a week or less/longer he will revoke your licence with zero explination leaving you out of pocket and conning the bank when you do chargeback claiming you used the software. He also as far as I believe does not have the correct business licences to run in AU. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THERE'S MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO CAN ASSIST WITH FIXING CONSOLES.

Curios if this tool works with a "dead" board, in other words, one not hooked to PS5 power supply. I'm sure false error's would exist, but one could realize this and work toward error codes that might keep it from booting.

But as you know it needs to be connected to sony to set the time permanently (I remove power from ps4 due to risk of lightning damage). I am some what new to console repair, mostly HDMI and possible shorted capacitor repairs are my usual problems. First time i hear about this software by watching a ToltecMerc video and i think this software is really amazing. I will definitely purchase this as soon as possible and thank you for making it easier for techs like us to be able to do more than just basic repairs.
