Imagine if your Furby no longer works normally or whatever, then you recycle/modify it into a into a dancing, lipsyncing portable speaker. I've actually had dreams about doing crazy stuff like that. The Furbs in those dreams had their circuit-boards stripped out and replaced so they'd be able to act as wired or wireless speakers and are able to move and lipsync in time with the music. Given the things people have done to modify their furbys, I wouldn't be surprised if someone did something similar at least.

It's kind of like hacking into your furby, but it doesn't harm it. This code is telling your furby to sing and eat. The high-pitch noise coming from your device it telling your furby to connect to the app.
