Makes me feel a little better, raced one of these earlier today in ny HR 350z and took a while to pull on it and i have intakes, test pipes, exhaust. I was confused when he was trying to race me and angry when i wasn't jusy gapping it lol
Why is it that people can't be in these videos without sounding like a bunch of monkeys hottin and hollerin in the background? First off, the ATS is on spray. Which is cool and all. But that is a big advantage. it is up against an 11-14 GT which were only 411 HP (11-12) and then 420 HP (13-14). The ATS can beat a GT from a dig unless the GT is on DRs and launches properly. That is because the ATS has much less power and can pretty much apply more of it to the ground easier. If it is AWD then it has even more of an advantage from a dig. And by the time it is rolling it can hit the spray to keep the lead. Without nitrous the GT probably would have caught him down the line. A roll on race and the GT might walk away even with the ATS spraying.
I have a 2017 ATS 3.6l awd and have to say this has been the only one I like and doesn't sound like a pissed off bumble bee ....could you please forward me what you purchased to get that sound...I'd extremely appreciate it.
I installed it all then put it back to stock the day after. It was unreal how much the interior of the car vibrated. Like another person said, from outside the car: it sounded like a Ferrari going down the street That said, from inside the car it made me appreciate the stock exhaust
I tried adding j pipes but it didn’t quiet it down. Let me know if you sort it out so it doesn’t resonate so intense and I may try it out! Thank u bro!
I own a 2018 ATS 3.6 AWD and also a C6 Corvette. I don't drive the Corvette much any more, the ATS is fast ,comfortable, handles better, and is quiet to drive.
Its gotta be tuned my 3.8 mustang would only rev to 4200 rpm when sitting still in neutral I tuned it and now i can rev to 5100 and my rolling revlimiter is 6200 factory was 5400
You can rev past it by putting the car in reverse electronically but not physically by slightly pulling the knob till it says reverse but you don’t hear the gear kick in.

Black on black and it will drift with the best of them and you can do donuts untill the Cows come home and very controllable platform with Magnetic shocks and brembo brakes and limited slip differential. I can act like a real ass hole in one if I don't control my urges to wipp it up into a frenzy around regular traffic. The car possesses you if you let it.
@@nonstopamu9052 if title is clean as well as mechanical history is good then you are definitely in the ballpark as far as price is concerned. Go over the car and eye ball the paint cosmetics and interior wear to see if you are satisfied and remember that tires are expensive but the tires are probably fairly new since most tire will only last about 50 or 60 thousand miles and usually will be replaced around this time in that particular car. Mikes Garage you can get a hand held tuner and adjust the limit. Diablo makes a decent tuner and there are multiple others, I used the GM one on my Camaro and it works with all GM vehicles.
I have answered the same questions a couple times on here if people just read the comments. I have the same set up after speaking to the guy who used to own this car. He used to own it..... took off all of the performance parts to trade it in. He was also running 12 second 1/4 mile using nitrous.

He is using 2 hushpower mufflers by flowmaster. They're called hp2. They're 18" long with the casing being 12" and the rest is the tube. This is the part number 12412304. They're the ones with 2.25" inlet and outlet. He also took the fiber glass from inside the muffler to make it louder. He also has an X pipe which you can get anywhere as long as it's 2.25". I have the same set up after speaking with him a while ago. I also upgraded my tips and it looks and sounds awesome.
Carlos Tamayo the mufflers were about 140 a piece so about 280. The tips I have were 50 each on summit racing. The X pipe I got from amazon which was only about 25. I believe the install with the tubing and all was about 150. that'll depend on the shop you go to. Roughly around 550. Way cheaper than a custom exhaust and I love how mine sounds. The sweet spot for this engines is high in the RPMs around 4k

Your ac Robs horsepower from your car. So if you turn off the ac off it'll be slightly faster.

I’ve got an ats coupe. The chassis is way too good for the engine. Not enough power. That ats has a two stage nitrous setup that’s why it’s so fast.

The ATS-V don't need to spray for Mustang GT! The V 0-60 is 3.7 sec. Go check out the Head-2-Head comparison against MB Amg 63s
