Raw, unedited footage of a thunderstorm rolling through southwest Anaheim right outside Disneyland at around 5:45AM on Monday, October 24th 2016. Storms brought frequent lightning, loud thunder and periods of heavy rain to So Cal on 10/23-10/24 2016. This is the type of weather we don't see often in southern Cal. Video is taken with an iPhone 5s looking outside the window.
You guys probably get excited about rain because it's so rare for thunderstorms to hit there
Great video. Being from the East coast Every Spring and Summer Storms like this would fire up. Intense Precip rates on the order of 1 to possibly as high as 3 inches per hour and strong winds. Definitely, the Very cloud Cloud to Ground lightning Strikes. Miss those days.
Interesting video man!
Thanks Jared! Glad you liked it!
these are sooooo rareeeee ill get old by the time another one rolls in
Some random GUY yeah this was prob the most thunder and lightning I’ve seen a storm generate in So Cal. We had another one two years later but it only lasted for the evening.
Wow! Great!
what a crazy way to start monday morning! this type of weather here is extremely rare, so lucky to be able to see it
MusicNerdMIDI I know, couldn't miss out on this lightning show, well worth getting up at 5 in the morning to see! We get lightning storms but nothing of this caliber, this lightning went on the whole day. One storm after another with ridiculous lightning
