Duffield garden railway

The Duffield Garden railway is a private 7/4 and 5 inch railway. It has a 0-4-0 central cab electric locomotive called Effie, A 0-4-0 ker Stuart wren called Wren and another 0-4-0 Hunslet called Maj je mos. The Railway also has many projects ongoing at the moment, and we can't wait to share them with all of you!

The Hunslet had a very stiff regulator, so you can hear and see it is quite difficult to control 😅. Therefore, it is out of service until we can fix it. I'm sorry for the breathing 😂😢
I like it. The engine is really working hard, but makes it up the grade! 😂
We do, too! We are ongoing work towards it and can't wait to hear thar noise again! Hopefully quite soon this video will be replicated!

Does Effie have a horn
Yes, she does have a temporary one. Thank you for being interested! The horn I'd a temporary one on the side, but as you can see, the side was removed when it was recorded for ongoing work. We will be adding in a permanent one when it has its overhaul soon!

Effie had some electrical work done to her, so her sides had been removed. However, she normal runs with them attached.
