How did you get the floor vents out?

Video sucks a$$ had you actually shown each individual thing instead of running your camera on your phone over stuff without people seeing it someone can understand most of this stuff some of it is accurate but you show nothing I'm glad you don't make videos anymore

This is a great video. You are right. Others made it look so hard. I watched a couple other videos and decided taking it to the shop would probably be best. I watched yours, found a local shop with the cable in stock and changed it literally in 15 mins. For the comment on not explaining how to get the clip in place, for those wondering, you push it through the hole after sliding the exposed cable part of the cable by the spring into the open slot.

Awesome vid. Took me 10 mins. You did not show locking the plastic clip in first (its the top side of the trans,) then attach the spring

You literally don’t show how you did the hardest step. Not removal but you didn’t show how to force in the new snap clip. Thumbs down for that my guy otherwise thanks for the vid (I’m still giving you a thumbs up on youtube)

This is the one to watch, although he doesn't show the old cable removal. But he does STATE that you shouldn't try to remove the old cable by pinching the cable clips. He says just grab it with pliers and break it out. This is the way to do it.

Hey, I've got a blower motor that don't want to come on because the fuse was messed up. You could wiggle the fuse and it would come on but now it won't even come on that way. So is it done by relay or is it in my fuse box?

This is the only video you will need to watch to fix this issue. The directions are precise and the video takes you through every step. I watched two other videos prior to watching this one and they were overly complicated or skipped over important steps. Great job and thanks for making this easy. The last time my cable snapped it took over a week and a few hundred dollars to fix. This cost me $18!

Does this cause hot air to come out vents or wherever all the time? No matter where I turn the heat cool knob, it's really hot air, thanks

So my g.f is a 1997 2wd 318 auto. And it doesn't throw heat I dont believe that little door inside is not opening. And I cant get at it like yours it looks totally different cant even see the price that turns the door to tell if its turning or not any one ever done one of these it also has an air bag on the floor there can I remove it 2x screws and what a plug or no....???

My door for defrost, floor, vent, when set on defrost works but if I go faster than 65 sometimes it just switches to the floor. Drop the speed and it switches back to the defrost 🤦🏻‍♂️

Broke mine on my first yard today, bought the part, watched your video, put it on. Back to the money 👌🏿

thats what im talkn bout..thanks for the video.. i like to bypass all these britle systems on these old dodges ... i think the only thing your missing is a ball valve to bypass the heater core .. i shut it in in the summer or atleast pinch it closed.. thanks for the video. .. subscribed...

That was too much work ..soo here is a screw and and a string zip tie and duct tape.getto fix ..when the brakes quit cut a hole in the floor and dig your heels in...tie a rope around an anchor for a e brake fix.

That door is supposed to be open or close to run max ac ? my truck is 2002 2gen men and i put the climate at 4 speed and it doesn’t blow enough air , i can hear the blower like crazy 300 horsepower and not enough in the vent

Please don't take this the wrong way. Your information is fantastic and very helpful to all that need it. However, get someone to hold the camera so everyone can see what you are doing. Thanks for making the very informative video, as you cover all the pattern failures with these vehicles.

My problem is when accelerating it flips to defrost then back when I level out the rpms.

How is your dash not broke???

I get decent airflow from my vents next to the doors. the vents in the center are very poor flowing. do they have their own mode door? I have noticed I always have some amount of airflow coming from the defrost and the floor vents. I believe those not being sealed off is wasting some of my airflow

The actuator turning but not changing the blend door is cuz there is a plastic sleeve between the actuator motor and the shaft for the door. You can replace it they sell a metal one at heatertreator.cpm

About to trouble shoot my 2001. Found the low pressure cutoff switch was bad and the AC low side pressure was low. Charged generically now and might try cleaning the low pressure switch before I install the new one I just invested in. However, was noticing the line coming out of the condenser was frosting over correct and I only had a ~10°F drop in the vent. Wondering if the AC Heater Blend Door Actuator is bad or will have to do some bracketry work. Next to do like you noted after I read into some more. Thanks for sharing!
