My spring broke and did a lot of damage to the ceiling drywall when it hit the angle bracket mount with all that force. Instead of installing a safety cable I should have just had a torsion spring installed. Only made that mistake once.

A real company would just replace it in the kit that they can buy for super cheap at the manufacturer but no precision decides to make it twice as long and cost twice as much they also tried to recommend a few of our customers 1200.00 springs so that's pretty nice

As the garage door technician in Seattle for years precision is the biggest joke in the industry

I use to do ohd service & instlls. That bearing on the top that’s gone, could be rebuilt if the shaft wasn’t effected. We use to replace these “gears” all the time. Saves the customer the cost of a new opener 🤧 Openers will last 20yr+ if properly serviced Great video 🤔👍🏻

I accidentally locked myself out of my house on the coldest day of the year in my pj's! I tried to get in thru my garage, but my garage door panel only lit up but wouldn't open the garage door, and I was stranded outside in the freezing cold. I called the 24/7 emergency number to precision door, but no techs were available to help me. Then, I found this video. I was able to change the 9v battery on the panel and open my garage door without having to wait days for a technician to come. THANK YOU!!! 🙏 ❤️

Where is the opener bracket ??? Why to pot 234×1.75 spring when thy need 207 spring replace opener with no need lube will do the job very good If you want to get service for your garage please guys go to a small company in your city you will get better service and better price believe me

Great video and straight to the point. If you were to improve on this I'd say change some wording from "messing around" to something else. People don't want to be classified as "messing around " when we are working on or figuring out a matter.

I run a plumbing company and I built my house my self. I did everything from pouring the footings all the way up to the ridge cap. The only thing on my house that I contracted out was the garage doors. Years ago I was roughing in commercial new construction and I was right next to the guys installing one of these giant commercial garage doors. He was using vice grips on the spring and they broke. Something spun around and hit him square in the face. It looked like somebody filled a garden hose with blood and dragged it through the entire building. He was in the hospital for 2 months.

I like my door doing that because of our weather strip thing it helps push the door all the way shut

Great way to rip people off by saying they need new springs you just needed to adjust the springs maybe a wind or two🤦🏼‍♂️

Pretty d** easy for a brand new garage door only 1 person doing it .I have an old garage door. I cleaned the track with a brush, greased it, lubed it, and it was still a pain in the a$$!😒

Started out with a $500 dewalt pack and added some basic essentials and a couple extra storage boxes. It did the job but I had also bought a Milwaukee impact/battery/charger kit for $150. My dad works for a towing company and they impound cars occasionally and eventually get free shit out of the cars nobody picks up. He ended up getting an impound car with a bunch of tools in it and it had the exact same Milwaukee drill I had just bought so I ended up snagging that since he had no use for it and I haven’t even used the new one I bought with the dewalt pack. I have not once touched a dewalt drill since and that old Milwaukee impact has been through hell and back with me… and I got it in a condition that looked like it’s been through even worse than I’ve put it through (although I take care of my tools very well). It has worked wonders for me far beyond them capabilities of the dewalt drills and impacts I got. So much so that even though I had already gotten a good starter kit from dewalt, I completely restarted a new and got all Milwaukee. Not to hate on dewalt because they do make quality stuff no doubt, all I’m saying is I will never buy another dewalt tool again after switching over. I’ve been more beyond happy with my decision of making the switch. Then again, not to hate. Simply expressing my love for the quality, craftsmanship and dedication Milwaukee puts into their tools and putting their best efforts into making sure they’re above and beyond type of tools.

I got a price from them for a new door 6300 made a call got the same one for 2500 wtf
