Is it me or is Clifton Powell & Eddie Murphy the Same Person! Lol.. I met Clifton once before. I was not big on movies so I thought he was Big Daddy Kane. I even called him that. He was such a gentleman and professional. He kept his kool and simply earned his respect from me as one of the best actors not just black. One of the best Actors Ever to grace the Silver Screen! While prejudice isn't inherently racist in definition, racism IS a form of prejudice. It's a shame that in the "pursuit" of ending racism, America is starting to become as racist as it was during the time Jim Crow laws were around. We have allowed ourselves to divide by the words of people with too much power and by the people who claim to be your ally and fight for racial inequality when all they want is your money and to push narratives that ultimately divide white and black people. This is a major slap in the face to the civil rights movement's leaders who are rolling in their graves hoping and praying that America will go back on the path of equality.

This really calls more into question systemic and systematic racism vs prejudice because individuals of any race that isn’t white holding power still can’t be racist towards other racist because their individual power dynamic hasn’t changed the entire society around. I hope this helps make more sense for people. Again, those that holds the majority in govt and finance and resources and discriminates are the racists.
