This is a basic character workflow from modelling in Nomad, to UV mapping in Maya, texture painting in Substance Painter, rigging and animating in Maya mGear and finally rendering using Arnold. Hope this could be useful for artists out there.

I wanna start by syaing thank you cuz you didddd solve my Pyro Collision problem, so thanks a LOTT, my dude!! Really appreciate it. Having said that - maybe a shorter video would have been better. For anyone looking: Around @25:30 is when the pyro collision stuff starts. Thanks again!

Very Interesting talk, mgear is great, and I just don't get it why more people are not using it.. I wish one day we see it in Houdini too!
enjoyed it a lot, keep it up, 😍
Thanks a lot for this interview! Looking forward to more similar content. Best of best
480 ? it's a crime, bro :(

Thank u 😍
Thank you for sharing this :)
thanks man!!!!!
in 16:00 when that happens to your cursor in maya, just hit the "Q" key and will fix it.
Thank you for this step by step tutorial, that help sooo much, not a lot of people are able to show us that process. I tried to do the same process of transparent body part for the head, because neck as to be off on my MH, It's working but delete the hair, do you have a solution for that, have you already test it ? No worry if you don't answer, in all the case, great video, thank you for all of us :)
Hey Hossein, You know what thank you thank you thank you!!! 😍That's all I want to tell you😊
Thank you for sharing this recorded session....really helps to get some insight for me especially as a beginner....thanks again to you and to Miquel as well

나는 마야의 리깅 기술을 알고 싶어요. 나는 관절의 연결을 알고 싶어요. 특히, 어깨와 골반의 움직임의 관절 연계를 알고 싶습니다.
Thanks for showing me how to make a whore
Cool & THX!

Thanks so much for the whole pipeline.... watched whole hour video twice..... Thanks Thanks
I love the in-depth talk about geology etc but then i dont think the end result look very convincing or natural at all with these sharp peaks...
Omg Layla is so beautiful
Hey my characters hand are sticking and stretching part of my jacket out, I can turn tether limit and stiffness up and it partially fixes it but it still bulges out when her hand moves past it. Any ideal why it's doing this and how to fix it?
leave the top of your arms Jacket non simulated Aka Purple/Pink so it stick to the body, it Happen in MD when you set the Vertex count too low, i don't think i work the same way in Unreal so won't be fix by ranking up the vertex count, but making a small line going all the way from top to bottom of your arms will fix it. I advise you to watch " My metahuman virtual clothing workflow" on youtube it's a great video if you want to deep dive into MH.
@@brisecrane71 Alright thanks for the advice I'll check out your videos too.
After I save my work and came back to continue working on it, I get a message in the script editor, saying “hikCharacterList | OptionMenu” not found. Is there a way for me to fix it?
We should mention you can only do this from Quixel Bridge as a standalone application and not from Quixel as an Unreal Engine Plugin. Since it doesn't give the different file export options.
It was really amzing when Lukas showed the picture of his town. Really amazing. Pretty amazing talk. Thank you Lukas for sharing your great insights and thank you Hossein for hosting this talk, really informative and insightful.
Just found your channel have great content about mgear
The tutorial is great, but seems you are in noisy haunted house lol
That was so fun! Thank you :D
Great job peoples!
thank you so much for this video. For me it is insane that the developers of mGear dont have a beginners step by step guide on their channel. I'm about to use this in a professional environment and want to exercise a little to avoid being like an untrained soldier thrown into battle.
Great Tutorial
