do you use one coat or several?
@@Rob_Fordd I usually apply more than one. It depends on the desired results and the characteristics of each piece.
Sorry if I missed you explain it but why did you drift from the bottom with the lower segment of the drift?
@@J.TurnerHandmadeKnives I generally drift bottom up due to the lower flare of this design, I drift top down for the final fit of the eye.
Bro! I got one of your throwing knives. Awesome!
I have one on layaway as we speak. I am curious does that have a Hancock safety?
Yes, it has a half cock safety. I've had mine for 7 months, I'll let you know now, some 2 3/4' spent shells are a little longer than others just enough that you really have to work the lever hard, So I'll help you save some time. I found that Walmart has all the ammo selection you need. All Winchester 2 3/4'' 12 ga ammo works perfectly Target, bird shot, Buck shot and slugs, All Remmington ammo I have used works also. High brass and low brass, so you do get a good selection of ammo I have over a thousand rounds through mine. The more you shoot it the better it will run. Enjoy it when you get it.
@@scottgraham1153 just picked it up last week. I love this shotgun. Thanks for the good information.
I really like mine. If you run it like you mean it, it works fine.
SAVAGE
Those spike hawks look great!
Thank you
Those look great! Do you peen the edge to work harden?
Yes
A little late, but the steel bar was 1075 from Admiral Steel. This was probably one of the last forges to have the free sample.
Alright.. you've convinved me.. I need to make me some copper knives. Way too cool.
18 inch barrel, 26 overall. Cut the stock down
Bowie is for combat not chopping wood
Damnit!!! You need a shotgun in your back yard??😂
this dude is the definition of american
Any way to do this with only campfire?
Did you try?
Weird comments on this video...nice collection .all i got is a single shot...need to upgrade
Did you ever use the pre-lim? I just ordered a bunch of it because I have an Art Deco rod iron table from the 20s and I started to use the rust remover but I found it to be very harsh, so I’m going to attempt to use the pre-lim, Then the wax and see how things work out with that, let me know your thoughts on this. By the way nice axe
We are in 2022,; not in 1875!!!!!!
ARE YOU IN INNER WAR ???😱😨😡😵
I just poured my first copper ingot, and forged it into a blade. Wanted to try something different, been forging knives for awhile now. It's like hammering play-dough in comparison to steel haha! Neat homage to the past, and makes for a nice wall hanger.
Wish I had a Smelter!
Nice work bro! Ya the stuff works great
I carry revolver primary, speed loader and speed strip (can use for derringer reloads). Derringer for BUG. Derringer set up for cross draw in car, weak side pocket, or weak side ankle.
Silly coyotes will never learn.
Hey Dustin
Look at this fucking thing, of course it's supposed to fuck someone up when you punch them.
Damn you like an enforcer for a biker gang who wouldn’t think twice about breaking some legs with a rusty crowbar l
Good video, you could put a top 'or' (left) side 'folding stock' on that Mossberg 500.
I was considering it
Fuck the government.....
I got gun videos myself and riding videos
Those bitches look fancy as fuck.
Neat me and my friend did the same thing with a Lee Enfield and a Mosin Nagant
I love 20 ga SINGLE SHOT GUNS I GOT 2 ONE IS NEW ENGLAND AND OTHER I THINK ITS STEVENS
Cool stuff
All you "gunfighters" never been in a gunfight.
Have you ever shot anyone? How do you know if they are your favorites?
Yes, but my lawyer doesn't recommend that I discuss it publicly.
Damn good video, man. I've been dabbling in knife making (merely a hobby in my case, tho), and I noticed how much you spend on sandpaper, belts, etc. (especially when you have to use as much as I do to get it right haha)
Nice review, sir.
You didn't show us "how I use it on my blades". How long would you say it lasts?
It's pretty simple. You rub it on like a polishing wax and let it set a bit until it starts to dry. You then wipe off the excess. I'd recommend a couple of coats just to be sure you have sufficient coverage, allowing time to dry in between applications. In storage the product lasts as long as it isn't worn away. In use it provides an excellent degree of protection requiring reapplication depending on amount and frequency of use.
I keep a single shot Winchester in 16 gauge behind my truck seat as my favorite all around workhorse gun, along with a full selection of ammo types. It cannot be beat.
...but what if you had 2 barrels...lol
Any gun is better than no gun, but I'd go with a pump action
Nice old Iver Johnson Champion single. I use mine often.
which shotgun does your boyfriend prefer ?
Sorry, not into dudes
Wtf...great video mate
Cool drum mag on the AK 12 gauge that should be a problem solver
Good vid if people get upset over eating a rabbit the have never lived in the country that's for sure
Man I need a single shot like that one
Jesus loves you guys repent and believe the gospel and be saved from hell, He died for you have a good day.
Jesus is awesome, I wonder what kind of gun he would carry?
@@dustinrhodes5241 he carry his father... Mt 26,53" Or do you think I could not ask my father now, and he would send me more than twelve legions of angels?"
Hey Dustin how is it going ?
Good thinking on not loading a pump action and leaving it loaded. Most shotguns are not drop safe. Only ones I know that are hammered fired with a transfer bar
Jesus loves you guys repent and believe the gospel and be saved from hell, Hes died for you have a good day. <3<3
I thought you would take down the finger peg on the bolt. I've always wanted on of these and have wondered if that thing has to be that big.
I've considered reducing it
this is the type of guy i would trust with my daughter
