Those food cars generally have that metal base which can help with speed since they are low to the track. But you do seem to find some faster than normal ones. Looking forward to more of this series!
They might be good for modifications. Got some cool stuff coming up, doing a co-op race with Chase Family Racing so keep an eye out for that!

How long is the track
I never officially measured it but it’s approximately 20 ft. Close to a scale 1/4 mile. I’ve seen your name on other channels, you do a lot of modifications on cars right? Thanks for coming by!

@@frugaldiecaster4026 My mistake! I had seen other vehicles with that same wheel design have good success on the track though!
I think the Deora III is one of the dumbest castings. Except.... they consistently kick but on the track.
It’s the first time I ever ran a 3 on here. But it’s kind of like Hot Wheels royalty lol. That long front end must help with the speed.
I was NOT expecting that Deora to perform like that!
@@DutchClutchRacing yeah, i dunno how well they take to dusting or other modding, but straight outta the pack, they are usually pretty quick.

The Syclone came out about the time I got my drivers license and I dreamed of one! Glad this one did some justice!

As soon as you busted out the GT Race, I knew that wasn't going to be that fast. I have several myself & I still have yet to see one win a heat. It looks fast but just not fast enough.
Yeah I thought the same thing. Kind of a shame, but I still appreciate the looks of it.
@@frugaldiecaster4026 This is my suggestion, pair up the GT Race with some of the slowest cars like the Aston Martin Vulcan & it will have a fair chance.

I pick the Studebaker. Champ. Did you know the small block gets its name not because of anything to do with a motor, but rather because it is hot wheels idea of a tooned pinewood derby car. Or at so i am told.

Nice race, finally found an orange VW van. Gonna give it a try. Have to pick up one of those Flippin Fast in that color way too. Several nice cars in that one. I like that Lambo!! F-150 Lightning will be a popular pick but I will go with the hovercraft just to be different. Lambo and Bugatti don’t sleep on those though.

Honestly, I thought that 5 Alarm would be a monster to deal with for this race.
If it was as heavy as it looked it might have been, but it’s surprisingly light.

I too like that Audi color. Thought it would get in the finals but not. That group of mystery models look weird with those miss matched wheels but they can run good.
That Audi would have gotten into the finals if it was in any other heat, that Mustang screwed it lol. Just got the N case last night so that will be coming up.
My goodness, something happened with the cobra and the Audi 😮
I think the Mustang just needed a lap to warm up, and that Audi would have won any other heat.
And the Audi Ftype is fast too
I have the white version of that Cobra and is one of the fastest cars that we have, let's see what he has

I remember back in the day when I was first getting into TH-cam, I did a race between a Zamboni(some misc casting I picked up somewhere) and a Bugatti Veyron....lol....
