The Pard FD1 does NOT calculate ballistics when used as a clip-on. I also will add that at 50 yards in broad daylight, I could not resolve/see the rings on my paper target nor pellet holes. $650 paperweight.

DO NOT BUY the LRF version of the NV007SP unless you have a low profile elevation turret on your scope. You have been warned. Pard’s design team totally dropped the ball when designing this unit! I tried fitting it to my Hawke Sidewinder which has a medium height elevation turret and the LRF only works reliably to 30 metres. Beyond that it can hit 40 metres once in a blue moon. My solution, or at least I hope my solution, was to order an Element Helix 2-16X50 HD scope with low profile turrets. I guess I’ll find out when the scope arrives later this week! Anyway folks, I hope my personal experience of this unit is of assistance and saves someone the utter disappointment I and many others have felt after attaching it to our scopes. If you want an NV007SP with LRF buy the non LRF version and add an LE032 Rangefinder. A decent independent laser IR illuminator is also worth the expense.

I bought the PARD FT34 LRF 2 weeks ago..First night out after charging the battery and only programing in RHOT and forest and range the PARD battery lasted 15minutes...I ordered new batteries...Once again the charged battery allowed 15 minutes of viewing time...returned it to Scheels where I bought it...4 days now and the Scheels Rep has not gotten anything done to replace the defective PARD THERMAL CLIP ON. My patience is wearing thin with the ppl at PARD !!!

Make a new 007 SP LRF (Wide) with a lower base magnification of 1x or max 1.5x. Most quality mid-range optics that have parallax adjustment are with a base magnification of 3x or 4x. In this case, the field of view is quite narrow at a short distance, and it is difficult to find an animal in motion. Everything else on the Pard 007 SP LRF device is simple and perfect.

I have had nothing but issues with the SA62-35 thermal. The first one I ordered directly from PARD had a bad thermal image sensor. There was a blurry line that ran from the top of the image to the bottom of the image. The blurry line was also in the recorded videos, so it was not an LCD screen issue. I spent $80 to ship it back, I was told that they would refund the shipping, but I was not refunded for the shipping. The second SA62-35 was ordered through Optics Planet, and it also had issues. There was a thermal gradient of hot to cold from the bottom left of the image to the top right of the image. There was also a "ghost image" that would stick around until the thermal did its refresh cycle. I tried updating the firmware, and the issue persisted. Thankfully, Optics Planet has a good return policy!

@Pardvision - Excellent job with this device! I have had 3 of your 007 S scopes and Love them! I couldn't wait until you would offer a Front-Mount version, and Now They're Here! This new design will be great when used 'by itself', but I'm interested how they'd help when used on the front while a 007 also used on the back?! That will be fun to test/try out! It is strange that when the video shows the unit being introduced in the soft case it is so dark and fuzzy. I have this unit (non-LRF) and it does not fit completely into the soft case, the Velcro barely closes. Maybe it is not so weird they prefer not to show that clearly after all.

Almost bought the AGM Rattler V2 Then this thing popped up on an amazon ad.. I researched it and thanked God ... For finding this ...the lrf and 45mm lens Ballistic calculator...laser range finder Holy chit... Its on the way for 2g....a steal

about ready to return mine. Instruction guide print is super tiny and in playing with it for 3 days now I cannot grasp turning it on and working my way through the menu. Its totally frustrating. I guess the electronics and computer language is not for everyone.
