Cannot believe this was 7 years ago. This was the first movie that I remember googling daily looking for any scrap of info that wasn’t a spoiler. This movie payed off big time for me, it was exactly what I expected it to be, a dark, realistic take on Godzilla with a focus on the human characters who weren’t bad but not super interesting either (I had seen Gareth Edwards’ “Monsters” before this). Thanks so much for featuring my cringe ass reaction in this wonderful video

After you see that Godzilla only appears in the whole movie like 12 minutes. And they say Godzilla King of the Monsters was bad I:I Who understand the stupid critics?!
