Its always great getting physical copies of media especially on a deal. Few of my friends don't understand why I'll buy a physical edition of a game that i already have digitally. Its just fun finding deals

Yeah, anything that is untested/as-is I always also just assume it doesn't work. I don't buy consoles though, just games that I can fix/resurface/solder if I need to.

My mom died and I had to settle her home which was full of awesome stuff I didn't want. So I had an estate sale just to make sure her stuff wasn't junked and could find decent homes. I did cherry pick with my siblings thru it all before to ensure no family history would be lost and the broader family could have things they wanted ofc but when it came to the money I got for the items I didn't care. I sold my entire gaming collection for 200 when the guy offered me 200 for just my Wii and all the games and accessories it had. He was so grateful he even said he felt bad because he's just gonna make money off selling it. I told him that's how I felt selling my mom's house 😉.

I have a media store at a flea market and let me tell ya so many people will try to sell you broken systems with zero shame lol. You ALWAYS gotta assume they don't work right same with games also but at least with games you can always flip them over and look for disc scratches.

I’ve recently done the opposite. Picked up 3 Xbox 360s with 2 big hard drives and 3 controllers all thrown ima box together for $40 only one has the red ring. The other 2 are the latter models with the jasper board and work awesome. Also 2 out of 3 controllers work well

I sold a complete Dragons of Glory at our bookstore a few months ago. the thing you are holding is just the cover. inside, it had 2 booklets, 2 maps, and I think 1 punch card. the punch card sheet you are looking for has a kaolyn chit in the green and yellow section. look for 2 maps in there that say Dragonlance on them.. and obv 2 rulebooks, both should say dragonlance. that should be complete, and if you have all that, will pay for the box and then some by itself. i haven't had any squad leader stuff in a long time, but that used to be sought after... a LONG time ago. no idea what the market is like for it now.

They used to sell those cards at the regional chain Caldor when I was a wee young spoo. Somewhere I have a bunch of cards (I think I'm missing 3, along with some dupes) and at least one of those Gameboy cases packed away somewhere. I only remember having the grey cases, personally.

Thanks for the heads up on Hyrule Warriors. I see Age of Calamity all the time, but don't see the Definitive Edition out in the wild anymore, even at some of my favorite used game stores. Went ahead and ordered a copy off Walmart and just hoping this is the ESRB version as listed in the description (which aren't always accurate). Only a $10 savings, but it is what it is, and some games you just have to pay more than you might want.

i'm not big on this years deal but i will pick up something that i might want maybe like 5 games and more switch controllers

I saw a bunch of copies of Super Mario RPG at Walmart for $30.00.... I wouldn't normally be tempted but that is a good price. Picked up Burnout Paradise for $10 the other day, I do remember having a good time with it back on the PSP.

I imported all of these, except the Shindou Edition for Super Mario 64, only have the original Japanese version.

i've played a 3ds for years. Splinter cell 3d is easily the best game i've ever played on the system. Except maybe ocarina.
