History CAN repeat itself - And mostly sadly in a negative way - because we never learn from it! But Today we see again a rare glimpse of a positive example of it Christiana and Pilgrims following in the footsteps of good Christian, arrive at the INTERPRETERS House No doubt in the next reading we will find her viewing and learning from the same objects and pictures that so prepared her good husband to remain until the end of pilgrimage before her 🙏 Shalom 🙏 Jonathan ☝🙌🙏👍🙂

"Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye DIE not: for so I am commanded." Leviticus 8:35 Aaron and His son's were being CONSECRATED or set apart for The Service of God at the Tabernacle. Whereas I'm not qualified to pick apart and comment on every aspect of it all, We can see this that it was a SERIOUS business - To the point that is if they didn't follow and obey God's instructions exactly, they WOULD Die. The stakes were extremely high. Spoiler alert : In fact we find that in Leviticus 10 Verse 1& 2 "And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered STRANGE fire before the Lord, which he commanded them NOT. And there went out fire from the Lord, and DEVOURED them, and they DIED before the Lord." They didn't follow God precisely and they DIED - Uzzah was another example of one who stretched his hand out to save God's Ark from falling off a CART as it was being brought back home But it's the same principle : The Ark of God should NEVER have never been on a CART in the first place - because The Lord had designed it to be CARRIED on POLES There are examples of JUDGEMENT of other differing natures in the New Testament too where Ananias and Sapphira lied to The Holy Spirit - They Died My point is not whether God (who is unchanging) still strikes down those who don't precisely follow his ways exactly, but rather God gives US TODAY in His Word some EXACT instructions and we Like Nadab, Abihu and Uzzah just "follow our noses", make it up as we go along and perhaps are incurring the displeasure of God and forfeiting the blessing of His Spirits attendance in our meetings (and our own personal lives) which is we NEED most of all Just by the way I know of another Priest who followed God, obeyed God and executed His role before God - PERFECTLY and yet it cost Him HIS Life Not because He was disobedient or negligent. It was because it was agreed beforehand that HE was to OFFER a PERFECT sacrifice before God - For SINS ONCE for ALL time... But there never was a ram ,bull or lamb that was ever going to good enough to pay for ALL sins of everyone for all time So He made HIMSELF the sacrifice and HE Offered His own LIFE and blood "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the Sin of the world" Jesus says these words which set out God's plan to bring peace between a PERFECT God and His Perfect ways and a INPERFECT MANKIND and their IMPERFECT ways "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 But if WE don't FOLOW God's instruction on receiving Jesus (who IS God's own LAMB to take away the SIN of the World) so that we may find PEACE with God - WE WIL DIE eternally Of that We can be sure and in that God is exactingly unchanging Begin to Call Upon God this day to lead you from inevitable Death to LIFE Lord thank you for the obedience of the GREAT HIGH PRIEST of your Way Thank you that he not only demonstrates what TRUE obedience is But in doing so He presents to the Human Race the Wisdom of God for the ONLY WAY for the Saving of Sinners FROM their ULTIMATE DISOBEDIENCE (that we ALL have committed) SIN (the doing of things that God commands us NOT to & the NOT doing of things that God commands to do) Grant us to first come to you in this very singular NARROW way to be saved... and then grant and help us to continue in this NARROW way until you call us home or you return In Jesus' Name Amen 🙏 Shalom 🙏 Jonathan ☝🙌🙏👍🙂

Who He means to SAVE" Now there is a "new concept" (it has been such from the beginning) for the modern day evangelist or witnessing Christian And Hope for the struggling SEEKER. Persist, bear with God in His ordained process and if HE Humbles you take heart.... In Christ He will Exalt you in due time! "There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of MY sin. For MINE iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of MY foolishness. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long." Psalm 38:3-6 Brutally honest is David in this Psalm And (I) and we could learn a truck load from Him! He recounts HIS suffering's and GOD'S Sore Displeasure because of David's SIN Is it WRONG to "groan before the Lord or lay out a complaint" - (Obviously avoiding the extreme of doing nothing else) If you "enjoy" not being honest with The Lord and if you know someone ELSE who can sort out the regular calamity of OUR DAILY calamity of falling into Sin! The crack on! But there isn't anyone else who can help is there? (I'm reasoning with myself here) But I'm ashamed you say - You (like me) want to find a bush (like Adam of Old) where I can "hide" from the Lord And yet all along you know that there's NOWHERE that you can Hide from God RUN TO HIM Not FROM HIM This is one of the many battles of Faith that we daily have to fight But has God designed the "whip or scourge" to DRIVE you away or KILL you? It can feel like that sometimes. But No those wounds (that God can and sometimes does give) are designed (believe it or not) to DRAW and SHEPHERD us out TO Him So that in the final analysis He (who is the only REAL source of Comfort in the Universe) Can COMFORT and RESTORE US Cry Out to God your Heavenly Father as David did (in this Psalm and many others) Ask Him to DRAW you to HIMSELF and to Comfort and restore you - "Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation. Psalm 38:21,22 David and WE have nothing to Fear form The Lord for the same one who laid on those wounds on you so carefully, lovingly and with precise measurement to Shepherd You to Himself Promises : In Hebrews 13:5 ".....for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Sometimes I feel ALONE How about you? Sometimes it feels like abandoned by God held in contempt by Friends and even family? No ONE MAN ALONE has ever TRULY experienced those things.... But We can FEEL the "seeming" reality of this. But that is ALL it is - God Has Said "I WILL NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE.....YOU" Oh Lord why is it sometimes so very hard to just take you at your word? The Enemy of our soul has had 6000 years of practice of satanizing your people... but you hold the trump card - You have AN ETERNITY PAST of ALWAYS telling The TRUTH (it is impossible for God to Lie) and 6000 years of SAVING Souls! Grant us Your Spirit this day to be able to simply Believe And if you have never believed God but have a desire to (and even if you don't) Begin to read His WORD (The Bible) And ASK The Lord to make it alive to your heart - TODAY REPENT BELIEVE RECIEVE Whichever order you believe these to take place - We can all agree that God plants the seed of FAITH and makes it to grow May both SEEKING SINNER and (being) SANCTIFIED SAINT Find in God our Father All the COMFORT and or SALVATION that they need Amen 🙏 Shalom 🙏 Jonathan ☝🙌🙏👍🙂
