I wonder, will you do this kind of guides for Mech Assault 2 Lone wolf?

Mech Assault was my first exposure to the Battletech universe when I was 7. Couple years went by and stumbled into mechwarrior from one of my friends. I immediately recognized the Madcat and Atlas. Been playing Mechwarrior ever since. While I think Mech Warrior and Battletech are superior games to Mech Assault, I miss playing Mech Assault 1 & 2. Plus the story was passable and I wouldn't mind seeing a modernized version of it. Maybe introduce limb destruction and a few other mechanics from Mech Warrior.

Given the new weapons introduced in the Catalyst Games era of Battletech, and given the MechAssault game mechanics, this is a rough analogue of equivalency weapons to the tabletop: Energy: Pulse Laser: X-Pulse Laser or Clan Medium Pulse laser - Good fire rate, attack range is not so restrictive compared to Tabletop IS Medium Pulse Lasers. Laser: IS ER Large or Clan ER Large Laser - Surprising range. PPC: Heavy PPC or Clan ER PPC with Capacitor - Charging mechanic for more damage reminds me a lot of PPC Capacitors in advanced rules. The heavy damage they cause to another 'mech means it has to be one of these. Though how an energy weapon gains the streak missile property is just funny. Still, the blue ball PPC projectiles reminds me a lot of MechWarrior 2. Ballistic: Machine Guns: Clan Anti-Personnel Gauss. Fast firing, surprisingly adequate range (Instead of very short ranges like the normal machine guns of the tabletop.) If using MechWarrior 4 era weapons though, it would be a special Machine Gun Array, which has the damage of Heavy machine guns, but the better range of the Light Machine guns. Autocannon: LB10-X or LB20-X firing slug ammunition, given their single fire, but quite heavy damage. Gauss Rifle: Clan Gauss Rifle - The weight savings are absolutely critical to ensure some Mech builds can be done - The Owens "Hackman" variant and the Uziel "Belial" variant really need the weight savings. Missile weapons: Crossbow : Clan Streak SRMs - Instant lock on mechanics means these missile should be Streak, using MechWarrior 4 mechanics as a standard. Javelin Missiles: Clan Streak LRMs Hammer Missile: Arrow IV artillery missiles that trade away indirect fire capability for more damage. Special weapons: Lava Gun: 3 x Plasma Cannons / Plasma Rifles Flamer: Heavy Flamer with the range of an ER Flamer, which deals BOTH damage and heat at once - Flamers in tabletop can only deal heat OR damage, not both at the same time. Special Equipment: Target Jamming: Angel ECM Suite - Breaking all lock capability in MechAssault means that ECM suite has to be able to break streak missile capability - only the Angel ECM from Tabletop can do that. Null Signature : Needs two tabletop equipment to function: Star League era Null Signature for the inability for locking weapons to track, but also the Chameleon Light Polarisation Shield in order to become functionally invisible to visual and optical detection. Alternately, the Word of Blake Void Signature System is also a possible equipment. Chaff : Chaff pods, but reusable instead of being a one shot equipment in the tabletop.

love this game, played it so much as a kid, miss those days. thanks for keeping this legendary game alive, i regret giving away my physcal copies of mech 1 and 2 those 2 where amazing, young me was such a fool.

grinder is the only unique survival mode for mech games, mech4 has waves but you cant make them change like in grinder mode. grinder is pretty innovative for its time and the maps look beautiful

man for 2001 the graphics still hold up it still a very good looking game, i wish i didnt give away my mech 1 and 2 physical copies man i was a young fool. its a good game.

Man as a Mechwarrior/Battletech guy thid gamr always seemed wacky to me. I picked up a copy a bit ago at a local store, I'll give it a try sometime.

Me and my brother when we were kids would pick the mini gyro on the city map and there's tiny hangers you can fly into and camp in. We couldn't lose doing this online

Why did you stretch the footage to 16:9? The game's 4:3 480p. In fact TH-cam doesn't care what aspect ratio you upload in. You can upload 4:3 videos just fine, take Noodle for instance.

after playing mech assault 2 and bein a clan wolf fan boy I'm kinda upset about the names of the mechs especially the Timberwolf..... Like is it that hard to just call it what it is?

Of all the planes I wish I could fly in Crimson Skies single-player, this is easily the top of my list. You get the Brigand's rapid-fire cannons and the fireball cannon in one package, and beyond that... the plane just looks cool.

God, I wish I could fly this plane in single-player. Four machine guns AND the Brigand's rapid fire cannon all in one package? This would be an absolute joy to fly, especially on missions with lots of heavily-armored enemy planes (like the Red Skull Brigands you fight on the Chicago levels) or big targets like zeppelins.

where do I go to download this?
